President Hichilema emphasized the importance of Zambia’s political stability and pro-business policy as catalysts for commercial engagement and economic growth. We were impressed and hope to be back in Zambia soon! ❤️🌍🌽🧬🦠

Long-term, I'm excited to explore how we can leverage the coming biotech revolution to empower African communities, create highly skilled jobs, foster agricultural independence, and catalyze economic development along a climate-friendly path.....

I talked about the potential to disrupt current fertilizer production using biotechnology while slashing associated greenhouse gas emissions ten-fold. The impact on crop productivity in Africa is especially high because African smallholder farmers use little fertilizer.....

Many African nations are suffering from fertilizer shortages and skyrocketing prices set off by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, causing 140 million people on the continent to face acute food insecurity in 2022.....

Honored for the opportunity to promote #ClimateAction 🌍across #Africa with @VP and Zambian President @HHichilema, US and Zambian industry leaders, government officials, and philanthropists🌽.....
