Nasty fall for OKC's Jalen Williams.
He came down and his left foot got caught underneath him — similar to what Fever guard Ty Harris, who suffered a broken left fibula. They brought out a stretcher.
Ivica Zubac's x-rays were negative on his left ankle, Rick Carlisle said. But he's got some swelling. Unlikely to play tomorrow.
Rick Carlisle after win in BKN: "Good win for us. Much needed. Pretty solid game. Pretty tedious in the first half. ... Then we took care of the ball, which really helped."
He noted that the Nets had a late night having just played in Cleveland on Saturday.
Pacers made 21 3s (3x as many as last game) in a 136-109 win at Brooklyn. Ivica Zubac suffered a left ankle sprain 7mins in and did not return to the bench.
Haliburton had 24/10a, Siakam with 21-7-6, and Huff added 14pts. Just 3 TOs in second half.
Next: Mon. at MIL, first b2b
Haliburton (24/10a) with 20+ pts and 10+ assists in two of the first three games. He had a special in-game dunk and was skipping again. Was sharp and assertive in the second half.
Siakam (21) with his third straight 20+ point game to open the season.
Pacers' 3-point shooting has broken through — and now they've opened this one up. 100-74 late 3Q.
9 3s in New Orleans
7 last game v Dallas
Already 15 (of 31) tonight. And that's after a 3 for 11 1Q start.
No Ivica Zubac (left ankle sprain) on the court at halftime. Huffwill start the second half.
Now, let's see if the Pacers can start strong and get back to playing their brand of basketball.
Julius Randle not only got this rebound, but then scored the layup.
It’s the fundamentals that the Pacers must clean up.
Pacers started to make 3s late in the 2Q and that helped them open up a nine-point lead at half in Brooklyn, 65-56. Outscored the Nets 41-30 in the 2Q.
Siakam (15pts) and Oubre (10pts) are in double figures, but both have three fouls.
Seeing a lot more of Nembhard operating as the primary initiator when playing with Haliburton. Nets have put size on him and been physical.
Just two points (on 3FGAs) for Haliburton so far.
Pacers struggling to defend without fouling — so the Nets are living at the line. Already 21 attempts and there's nearly 4mins left in the half.
And still, the Pacers have the lead.
Head athletic trainer Josh Corbeil is back on the Pacers bench — but Ivica Zubac (left ankle sprain) is not.
He's been in the locker room for almost a quarter after exiting with 4:57 left in the 1Q.
They're on the first night of a back-to-back too.
Pacers' issues with turnovers has carried over from the preseason. Had 21 (for 31 Mavs points) last game.
Now with eight in the first 12mins.
They trail the Nets 26-24. And they need to find a rhythm with 3-point shooting (3/11).
I don't see Zubac on the Pacers' bench, so he's presumably back in the locker room for evaluation — and to tape it up.
Pacers leading Brooklyn 19-13 midway through the 1Q.
Ivica Zubac tweaked his left ankle stepping on Oubre Jr.'s foot going for a rebound. Remained in the game for a minute, but will now exit. Limped off the court. Replaced by Nance Jr.
Pacers and Nets underway in Brooklyn. Both teams in Classic Edition ABA uniforms.
Third game, third different starting lineup for Indiana. The original five for the first time this season.

GET READY, BLOOMINGTON‼️
We’re coming to your city to see the defending champ Hoosiers against the upset-minded Gophers 🙌
Pacers guards McConnell and Sheppard are out for Sunday’s game in Brooklyn. Aaron Nesmith is probable.
Noblesville Boom selected Maleeck Harden-Hayes out of UNC-Wilmington with the 19th pick in the G League draft.
Then, they added Austin Benigni out of Navy with the 53rd pick.
Indiana’s significant offseason begins with an overhaul at the top: Krauskopf is moving on after 27 years with PS&E, Cox is out after two seasons, and the Fever will conduct a national search for GM.
