Check out this outstanding interview from my colleague @JohnE_Fabb
I was interviewed on Fox about the Unaccompanied Alien Children program and the legal aid backlash | foxnews.com/video/6407260679…
Here’s what he should have said
@Phase2Deport
Obama used to say he wasn’t a king and that he couldn’t just change immigration law by himself. Then he did it anyway. In 2012 his DHS put out a memo and created DACA, handing work permits and protection from deportation to hundreds of thousands of people who entered the country illegally.
Congress never passed it. The courts have said it doesn’t fit the immigration laws on the books.
The Supreme Court never ruled that it was legal. Democrats have spent years defending it like it’s settled law instead of an executive workaround they liked.
One of the people who got that status is Miguel Alonso
Maldonado Soriano. He came illegally in 1999, got DACA under Obama, kept it under Biden, and lost it this year. Then he took a sledgehammer to the Iwo Jima monument.
They called people like him Dreamers and treated the program like a moral good. He used his time here to smash a memorial to the Marines who raised the flag at Iwo Jima.
Obama said he couldn’t act like a king, then did, and Democrats have had no problem with any of it. No Marchs, No protests , not a peep, That’s the record, end #DACA now …
BREAKING NEWS
FIFTH CIRCUIT: NO BOND HEARINGS FOR ILLEGAL ENTRANTS
Today the full Fifth Circuit ended it, 10 to 7.
Three men who entered illegally and had lived here for years got a district judge to order them released and force ICE to give them bond hearings. The en banc court reversed all three and vacated the 90-day bond hearing rule the panel made up in July.
Congress wrote the law in 1996. If you entered without being inspected, you are an applicant for admission, and you are detained while your removal case plays out. The statute says nothing about bond hearings. Judges don't get to add them.
The court also said detention pending removal doesn't violate due process as long as it ends in removal or release. The mandate issues forthwith. It's effective now.
Seven judges dissented and wanted to keep the hearings. Read the opinion and see who wrote what:

San Francisco officials are giving $1.8 million to immigration defense lawyers after ICE arrested a Salvadorian national with a criminal history of *checks notes* manslaughter and domestic violence.

I just introduced a bill to terminate the Diversity Immigrant Visa Lottery — a program that gives 55,000 green cards a year to foreigners from third-world countries and is riddled with fraud and weak identity checks.
Congress cannot let liberal activist judges force the Trump Administration to keep this failed program alive. We need to shut it down for good.
He wanted a better life , he needed asylum. Our immigration system failed ! What other talking points did I miss ?

@GovSherrillNJ passed a law California already lost in court
Governor Sherrill banned masks on federal agents. California tried the same stunt. A federal court blocked its mask law, and on Oct 14 the Ninth Circuit unanimously blocked its law forcing agents to show ID. So what did NJ do? New Jersey copied homework and the wrong answers too.
The ruling goes back to 1819. A state does not get to tell federal officers how to do federal work. I did that work for 24 years, and no governor ever wrote my rules.
New Jersey taxpayers will pay for the lawsuit you're asking for.

This one is bad. 👇 Jack Smith’s prosecutors would get docs BEFORE sending to filter teams. That’s backwards.
Senator @ChuckGrassley & @SenRonJohnson have been right to challenge Jack Smith’s case because he consistently trampled on the Constitution.
The Oversight Project released a new tranche of internal emails from Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office that were obtained through a FOIA lawsuit.
Smith’s prosecutors admit that privileged material reached investigators who should have never seen it. The emails show they repeatedly discussed deleting records.
Another amazing project from the @ItsYourGov staff !

Migration Policy Institute, who loves migration both legal and illegal, has deportations at 340k since January 2025.
I've been using 500k as the ceiling in my estimates, which have trended close to my earlier predictions based on the policies being used (minimal worksite).
🚨🚨 Hochul called the Medicaid fraud probe "political." Now she's announcing the fraud herself.
In March, Dr. Oz sent Hochul 50 questions and a 30-day deadline. She said the Trump administration was targeting New York for political reasons. Her office said Washington wanted to rip health care away from New Yorkers.
Now she's talking about money laundering, kickbacks and improper billing in adult daycare, and says she went to Oz to team up. Nobody partnered with her. She got caught.
A $68 million adult daycare kickback scheme in Brooklyn already ended in guilty pleas.
The State never got ahead of the problem , the Feds did and now she’s trying to save her political career
It’s NYC aka: Gotham , this guy has probably been through the system a dozen or so times and will continue to cause harm to others. He needs medical care.
@NYCMayor @JumaaneWilliams I didn’t see the presser ? Could you send me a link ?
PS: The Agent is a NYer….
🚨 BRONX MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULTING FEDERAL AGENT — SOURCES ALLEGE LENGTHY CRIMINAL HISTORY
According to the [U.S. Department of Justice, Liberty Martin, 42, of the Bronx, was arrested and charged with physically assaulting an @HSINewYork special agent during an October 8 incident in the Bronx. Federal prosecutors allege the agent was grabbed and had his clothing ripped before being followed to his government vehicle, where the confrontation escalated and the agent suffered a forehead laceration.
According to sources, Martin has an extensive criminal history that reportedly includes weapons charges from several years ago, while some of his records are allegedly sealed. Sources also allege he has been spotted at multiple protests and is considered by some to be a professional anarchist. Additional claims regarding an alleged change of clothing following the incident have not been confirmed in the DOJ press release.
Martin has been charged with assaulting a federal employee, a charge carrying a maximum potential sentence of eight years in prison. The charges remain allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
I've stated this on multiple occasions, the fraud committed is astronomical
NEW: A Massachusetts woman accused of operating a sham marriage ring that helped hundreds of illegal aliens get immigration status complained that Trump's policies made it more "challenging" for her to run the scheme, forcing her to shut it down.
"She is captured on video stating that she stopped doing weddings at the end of 2024 because 'that's when Trump was becoming a president. Gonzales stated she married a batch of people and made sure they had their documents. She then claimed that she suspended her business in 2025 because immigration was 'a little harsh.'"
AMERICAN JOBS FOR AMERICANS. THAT SHOULD NOT BE A CONTROVERSIAL SENTENCE.
Tomorrow night I’m at the @UFCR University of Florida’s Levin College of Law and this is where I start:
American jobs go to Americans first. In 2015, Disney laid off about 250 IT workers in Orlando. Some had to train their replacements to keep their severance. The replacements came through outsourcing firms that run on H-1B visas.
Last week the White House accused Microsoft of laying off 6,000 Americans in a year while collecting 6,300 H-1B visas, and suspended it from the green card program.
We have millions of capable workers in our own yards, and their families borrowed six figures to get them qualified. No US company should be outsourcing their jobs while we have qualified Americans.
@Phase2Deport
NEW YORK POLITICIANS HAVE SPENT A DECADE PROTECTING ILLEGAL ALIENS FROM THE LAW. NOW THEY WANT YOUR LOCAL GARAGE OWNER TO HELP.
Sanctuary laws passed, starting under de Blasio. Then Mamdani takes City Hall, says ICE shouldn’t exist, and calls it “rotten to its core.”
Now he, Schumer and Jeffries put their names on a letter to private business owners: “do not rent, lend, or otherwise make your property available to ICE.”
Elected officials asking citizens to help shut a federal law enforcement agency out of their city.
Think about that.
In 2020, New York went to court to keep illegal aliens in the census count that decides House seats and federal money. That’s their own case, on the record.
They tell you it’s about community safety. Ask who is safer. Not the victim of the criminal alien they wouldn’t hand over. Not the officer being told he’s unwelcome in a parking lot.
They never have to confess. Every excuse wears out, and the next demand is bigger. You tell me what they’re protecting.
You said at the University of Chicago on October 13th that a Democratic Congress should pursue “signature cases” not just against the president but “on the people who enabled him.”
You then stated the purpose explicitly: “I want young people coming out of school to say, ‘Should I go work for the Trump administration?
Like, that sounds fun, I might get an opportunity.’ I want them to be like, ‘Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don’t want, and so let me avoid participating in that.’
I want that deterrence message.”That is not a statement about prosecuting proven crimes. It is a stated intention to use the prospect of investigation and legal trouble to discourage young people from considering public service in an administration they support.
When challenged, you reframed the remarks as applying only to people who “break the law” or aid in “stealing taxpayer money.” The original comment did not contain that limitation; the deterrence of prospective hires was the point you emphasized.
Holding individuals accountable for actual violations of law is ordinary. Treating service in a lawfully elected administration itself as the trigger for “signature cases” and a deliberate “deterrence message” to keep people out of government is something else. The candor gap is between those two descriptions of your position.
This isn't my first rodeo with President Trump. After calling for me to be arrested, tried, and hanged for a 90 second video he didn't like, he is now attacking me for saying that there will be accountability for people who commit crimes on his behalf.
It's simple. If you break the law, then you should be held accountable. If you are stealing taxpayer money and enriching President Trump or his family, then you should be held accountable.
