Good morning, and happy Saturday, brothersandsisters!
Before you get caught up in today's plans, remember:
God is still sovereign.
Christ is still on His throne.
The Gospel is still powerful.
His Word is still true.
His promises are still certain.
His mercies are still new.
Whatever today brings, you can trust the Lord.
"This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
- Psalm 118:24
Please pray for our brother Samuel Sey, @SlowToWrite, that this issue gets sorted out quickly.
Christian men:
Be strong enough to repent.
Strong enough to forgive.
Strong enough to control your desires.
Strong enough to protect your family.
Strong enough to stand alone when necessary.
Strong enough to kneel before God.
Biblical strength begins with submission to Christ.
THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD: FREEDOM
No one controls God. No one pressures God. No one forces God to act against His will.
"Our God is in the heavens; he does whatever he pleases." (Psalm 115:3)
God acts according to His own perfect nature, wisdom, and purposes.
He answers to no higher authority. There is none.
Every believer in Christ should filter everything through Scripture.
News. Podcasts. Politics. Sermons. Self-help. Social media.
ALL OF IT.
If the Bible does not shape your lens, culture will.
The Bible must be your final authority.
The Gospel in four truths:
God is holy.
We are sinners.
Christ died and rose for sinners.
God commands us to repent and believe.
Christianity begins with what Christ has done, not with what we can do for Him.
Read the Bible when you feel close to God.
Read it when you feel distant.
Read it when you understand.
Read it when you struggle.
Read it when you are joyful.
Read it when you are suffering.
Your feelings change. The Word of God does not.
Men, here's a question worth asking:
Would you be comfortable with another man treating your sister the way you treat women?
Paul commanded Timothy to treat "younger women as sisters, in all purity." (1 Timothy 5:2)
In a hypersexualized culture, Christian men must recover a biblical view of women, one rooted in dignity, holiness, and the image of God.

Wisdom is more valuable than wealth, health, fame, and pleasure.
Knowing and fearing God is the peak of human existence. We were created to know Him. Everything else is a drop in the bucket.
There are 8.4 billion people in the world right now, and every single person has one great need... JESUS.
