A quiet period for the DMV weather. No major storms are expected, though a storm off our coast this week could send clouds back toward Delaware, Eastern Maryland, and parts of Southern Maryland. @ScottSumnerWX

Freezing temps and frosty conditions will be seen and felt across all counties shaded in color Sunday morning. The dark blue areas are Freeze Warnings, meaning that temps at 32 degrees and lower will be seen. The last time freezing temps were seen in the DMV was back in April! @ScottSumnerWX

The fall months, and especially October, can be a time when D.C. goes on these long dry spells of sunshine and not much else. Take a look at the list of 4 long stretches where D.C. either has no rain or a trace. @ScottSumnerWX

A long dry stretch of weather is anticipated for most of the DMV. The only areas that look to see a spotty shower or two, but the percentages are very low, are Southern Maryland in our DMV. Otherwise, expect sunny to mostly sunny conditions this week. @ScottSumnerWX
