Congratulations Hamilton on your choice for Mayor! Finally, one step forward, NOT followed by two steps backward! Whether municipally, provincially, or federally, Cdns are done with visionless socialism that leaves everyone vulnerable. Can't have programs without prosperity!!!

How can Chief Justice Richard Wagner be objective about whether the govt's use of the Emergencies Act was constitutional, when he's already used the same rhetoric condemning the trucker protests as the government did?

EDITORIAL Canada's greenhouse gas emissions up again
The numbers confirm yet again that the Trudeau Liberals had little understanding of the realities of energy generation, when they earmarked more than $200 billion of taxpayers’ money to lower emissions

HUGE achievement by the Conservative Party!
They got the Liberals to finally take action and make sure Canadians aren't being euthanized due to sole reason of mental illness.
Minister of Justice Sean Fraser:
"Canada has made a decision not to move forward with the expansion that is scheduled in the Criminal Code of medical assistance in dying in circumstances where mental illness is the sole basis.
The government will be tabling legislation this fall that will maintain that exclusion on an indefinite basis."

One observation.
David Eby's snap and self-serving BC provincial election call for October 24 evokes memories of Justin Trudeau's similarly cynical 2021 federal vote which cost Canada's taxpayers more tha $600 million and left occupancy of Ottawa government benches essentially unchanged.
Eby, stirring the Donald Trump fear pot and spending millions of public dollars chasing increased job security should persuade every voter in British Columbia to question whether October 24 is nothing more than a political hustle.
