CHART OF THE DAY: The Rhine's water level (measured at the chokepoint of Kaub) has fallen to the 2nd lowest in recent history, only above the low point of October 2018. The Kaub **gauge** stands at just 31 centimeters (note zero is not at the riverbed). The 2018 low was 25 cm.
