🧡 Just one example of the amazing feedback we get from primary schools taking part in our national Sun Safe Schools accreditation programme! ‼ Educating our future generations on the importance of sun safety is vital in driving behavioural change and healthy habits to prevent skin cancer in later life. 👍 Our Sun Safe Schools national accreditation programme provides primary schools with all the tools, advice, guidance and resources they need to successfully achieve the accreditation criteria which provides evidence of their commitment to: ✅ PROTECTION: providing an environment that enables children and staff to stay safe in the sun. ✅ EDUCATION: learning about sun safety to increase knowledge and influence behaviour. ✅ COLLABORATION: working with parents, the management structure and the wider community to reinforce awareness about sun safety and skin cancer prevention. 💪 This is how we drive behavioural change to prevent skin cancer for our future generations, combat the rising incidence and relive the significant burden on our NHS! ‼I s your child’s school on board? 👍 Get them to register at: sunsafeschools.co.uk/ @SKCIN - every month is #SkinCancerAwarenessMonth #SkinCancer #SunSafety #SunSafeSchools #SkinCancerUK #Prevention #Education #SunSafetyResources #PrimarySchools #Community #Health #SkinHealth #SchoolResources #Sunscreen #SlipSlopSlap
