When my dad came back from serving in the gulf war I held him so tight as he walked off the coach at the base.I couldn’t let go.I remember it like it was yesterday. This brought it all back.Thoughts are with every family missing loved ones this Christmas

Incredibly sad and heartbreaking. However, let’s spread the word so that someone thinks differently about letting off fireworks.
Missing my Pets as Therapy role at @StAnnsHospice @SalfordRoyalNHS @WythenshaweHosp @AdventureFarm but enjoying the holiday of a lifetime for a 10 year old rescue collie/retriever. Sending all my love. Looking forward to returning soon.
Loving being on a break in Spain. Today on the beach in Marazón. Thursday afternoons I’d usually be sharing hugs and kisses in my PAT role @SalfordRoyalNHS @NCAlliance_NHS @PetsAsTherapyUK @dogownersuk
We drove through the Pyrenees today as we set off from Occitanie in France to Aragón in Spain. We stopped a few times to wander and enjoy the villages en-route with the constant backdrop of those magnificent mountains providing incredible views at every twist and turn of the road
This has to be one of the best places to stay. It’s the incredible work of our host and no detail for comfort has been spared. After Mum took an evening swim we relaxed in our cosy Kota. Having spent the night in one, we’d love to know more about them.
Met this gorgeous chap, Gizmo in Langon 🇫🇷. Corn fields are everywhere. Tonight’s bed is in the Pyrenees and the owner keeps goats, well I’m game for a spot of chase but they don’t seem so keen 😕 I did find this cow but she wouldn’t play with me 😃

Today marks the Centenary of my Great Uncle being KIA during WW1. Private William Eckersley of the Welch Regiment may you always Rest In Peace. It was a fitting tribute to visit Berthaucourt, France with my mum and her cousin. @CWGC You do a good job of maintaing the graves🇬🇧

Oh how we wish everyone’s Mondays were as good as ours. Working like a dog hey. It makes our hearts sing. 🎶💞🎶 #therapydog #elderlycare @TheAbbeyfield @PetsAsTherapyUK
🐾 La Rochelle 🇫🇷 Great way to save money, no shops open on a Sunday! Beautiful place where I met a couple of UK Jack Russells en-route to Portugal also having a wander and stopping for a crepe 😋 #SundayFunday #sundayabroad #sunday #weekend #france🇫🇷
Working south, Le Crotoy on the Bay of the Somme, was today’s port of call. It’s a small fishing port and a pawfect place to walk, sniff and play @PetsAsTherapyUK @dogownersuk @StAnnsHospice @SalfordRoyalNHS @AlfredSearls @NCAlliance_NHS @AdventureFarm
