In Immortalis, Scurra is a serial killer perturbed by being denied promotion, who is granted tenure as the Dokeshi Carnival resident clown demon by Behmor, Nicolas's eldest son and king of Irkalla. Later, Nicolas trickery leads to Scurra being forced into civil service.

Archive is one of the earliest Immortalis Nicolai. He designs the humanoid forms of the other Nicolai, raises offspring and creates the internal layout of Corax. Although Nicolas calls him Archie, Archie's true name is The Architect as he considers himself too good for a name.

In Immortalis the Djinn Ibliss is a manipulative trickster from the Chronocell, another time dimension who is supposed to guard Nicolas. In practise Ibliss is a secret dark romance author who is plagued by Nicolas and his own love for Feilecann who he has caged by Dyerbolique.

Detective Cedric is the Immortalis Nicolai in charge of criminology and forensics. He even has a badge to prove it. Cedric has great empathy for serial killers and other marginalised criminals and arrests Allyra for harassing beggars.
