I love both the $MSFT original pitch (such an elegant description of their moat and why their business was creating so much value) and also loved Buffett's reasoning for passing. I wrote about it a few years ago: sabercapitalmgt.com/warren-b…
In 1997 Buffet was pitched $MSFT (first two pictures). His response on how he prefers to structure investing (last picture) as a no-called-strikes game & wait for a fat pitch was fantastic.
