The 4th and final day of the GEORGE Technical Forum focuses on the #SeaExplorer glider. In GEORGE, @Sorbonne_Univ_ will work with project partners to integrate novel #pH and #LOC sensors as well as #pCO2 and acoustic sensors to enable improved CO2 flux measurements 🌊

The three SeaExplorer gliders involved for the two #Repmus23 and #DynamicMessenger NATO exercises are back on deck today after 21days of continuous aquizition and realtime transmission of high quality Acoustics and Environmental data offshore Portugal.

When research becomes reality: our PhD student A. MERCI has developed a revolutionary algorithm that enables several SeaExplorer #gliders to cover a large area automatically and optimally, taking currents into account and guaranteeing a simultaneous return to the recovery point.

The race is on! C-PROOF gliders K-9 (@TeledyneMarine) and Eva (@SeaExplorerUUV) chase each other back to Calvert Island (@HakaiInstitute). They carry valuable data from the SWOT calibration line (@SWOT_AdAC) and DFO glass sponge reef MPA (@DFO_Pacific). @InnovationCA @csa_asc
