As much as I love Reece and what he represents to this club, his recurring injury problems are becoming a serious concern.
Chelsea need their captain on the pitch, not constantly watching from the sidelines. When you consider his wages and how often he has struggled with fitness, questions about his long-term future are understandable.
A fully fit Reece James is one of the best right-backs around, but availability matters just as much as ability.
This is genuinely devastating.

Ben Affleck criticizes the studio “tensions” over which version of Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” to release:
“It’s a very bad way, in my opinion, to make a movie because it doesn’t work well by committee. I think that was a little bit of what happened on that movie, and [Snyder] deftly navigated that in a fun way. That was very satisfying, particularly since that was such a hard movie to do. It was really nice to see him feel gratified to get to do his vision of the movie.”
