In the end, the people of Tennessee made the ultimate choice of courage and hope. Thank you to the thousands who came to the people’s house today to show the nation that we will not yield to authoritarian attacks on our democracy. Our fight is not over. #notonestepback ✊🏾

"Homelessness is a housing problem...communities with the highest housing costs have some of the highest rates of homelessness."
Ask just about anyone for their thoughts on what causes homelessness, and you will likely hear drug addiction, mental illness, alcoholism and poverty. A pair of researchers looked into it and wrote a book on what they found. st.news/3nY6fpn
California has offered us an opportunity to learn more about the challenges of housing people living in encampments. The Biden Administrations' commitment of resources to help communities tackle unsheltered homelessness is an important move in the fight to #ENDHOMELESSNESS

Every time I read a story about a bar/restaurant having a ‘No Biden Voters Allowed’ sign, I see ‘No Coloreds Allowed/Whites Only’. Anyone else get that energy and vibe? You can’t automatically tell who a White person voted for, but if you’re a poc it will be assumed you voted (D)
