Brandy had a proud mom moment last night as her daughter Sy’Rai performed the National Anthem before the sold out crowd at the Laker game in Los Angeles. Some fans said Brandy was being disrespectful to the Anthem as she yelled out multiple times during the performance. “Yeah’ sing it baby! Uh huh!” However most thought it was just a mom being proud of her daughter. You can hear the crowd wowed as Sy’Rai hit her notes. (🎥Brandy/Instagram)

And NONE of their ads talk about what they will do if elected.
Advertising spending and reservations in Ohio’s U.S. Senate race have surpassed $500 million, as Democrat Sherrod Brown holds a substantial fundraising advantage over Republican Sen. Jon Husted and outside groups spend big against Brown.

None of these campaign ads in Ohio talks about what they are going to do if elected. They are all about their opponents. Makes no sense to me.

This tribute from Ice Cube to D.O.C., right before the latter received his Paid in Full Award this weekend, was one of the most powerful things I've heard in a long time.

These insurance companies are out of hand. Constantly raising premiums. @realDonaldTrump should sign an executive order to put a cap on their rates.

George Foreman says a countertop grill paid him as much as $5 million a month. In 1999, its manufacturer agreed to pay $137.5 million for the permanent worldwide right to keep using his name on its appliances. By then Foreman had already made one of the strangest second acts in sports. He returned to boxing after a ten-year retirement, regained the heavyweight title at 45, and turned the intimidating fighter of the 1970s into one of the most trusted faces on television. A friend watched companies pay Foreman to appear in commercials and asked why he kept making other brands successful instead of getting his own product. The product they found was a small two-sided grill. Foreman did not receive a large guaranteed endorsement fee. He and his partners formed a joint venture whose payoff depended on the grill actually selling. At first, Foreman barely touched the prototype. His wife cooked him a burger on it, the fat drained away, and he agreed to put his name behind it. The first royalty check was about $1,500. The next was $15,000. Then the product moved from infomercials into millions of kitchens. “The checks were coming in $5 million a month.” That is the financial difference between renting a reputation and participating in what it sells. A normal endorsement pays the celebrity a fee. Foreman's arrangement let the payment rise with the product. Eventually those recurring payments became expensive for Salton. Its financial filing says the company paid $137.5 million in cash, stock and a promissory note for perpetual worldwide appliance rights to the George Foreman name. The filing says the transaction eliminated substantial royalty expense. Foreman had spent decades being paid to fight and a few years being paid when somebody bought a grill. The second arrangement made him more money. Watch the former heavyweight champion explain how a product he almost ignored began sending him checks worth millions every month.

I drove back from Sandusky to Columbus last night and listened to @kmichelle new country album 'Jesus and Whiskey'. It's giving ALBUM OF THE YEAR vibes. The production was top-tier. Her vocals were pristine. And the flow of the album made it through with no skips.

California-based Alef Aeronautics took a playful swipe at Tesla, releasing a video of its flying car soaring over a Tesla Roadster and welcoming the Elon Musk-led automotive giant to the “flying car race”. CEO Jim Dukhovny said Alef had been alone in the race for 11 years.

AI "worms" are now on the loose. @FlowofWisdom
AI “worms” could soon be capable of spreading across internet-connected household devices, with little human intervention, according to new research from Anthropic. “With much less human intervention, you could be looking at potentially destructive acts happening in environments that weren't predicted,” cybersecurity expert Jordan Rae Kelly says.

30 years later....justice is served?
A judge has sentenced Keefe D to 40 years to life in prison for the murder of Tupac Shakur. “You don’t get to take a man from his family. You don’t get to take his whole future from him, especially when that man is Tupac Shakur,” the judge said during sentencing.
