The Earth has over 7.5 million confirmed COVID-19 infections & 420,000 deaths. The US has over 2 million COVID-19 infections & 115,000 deaths (i.e., not the flu). And by the way, still no word from God yet. The power of prayer is exactly equal to statistical chance.

.@GovNedLamont - We see allowing 100 people to gather for religious reasons as contradictory to this CDC post. Do you have information that the CDC doesn’t that supports opening houses of worship to 100 people will be safe?
A May survey of public attitudes, behaviors, & beliefs regarding #COVID19 recommendations found widespread support of stay-at-home orders & nonessential business closures. Most participants also reported adhering to public health guidelines. See @CDCMMWR: bit.ly/MMWR61220

CT has 45,000 COVID-19 infections & 4,200 deaths. There are 13 states w/ more infections but only 2 states have higher deaths per capita. Connecticut's social distancing still earns a grade of F. Yet @GovNedLamont insists on putting us ALL at a higher risk by opening churches.

.@GovNedLamont Why does CT still have a religious exemption to the limit on public gatherings during this pandemic? This only serves 2 purposes. 1) to financially benefit priests, rabbis, imams, etc & 2) to put CT citizens and healthcare workers in danger. Please rescind it.

4 million cases of COVID-19 and nobody's prayers have worked. CT has 34,000 cases and over 3,000 deaths. We have the 3rd highest death rate in the country and our social distancing earns a grade of F. So why do we have a religious exemption to public gatherings @GovNedLamont?

As the world passes 3M infections & 220k deaths, the US passes 1M infections & 60k deaths, and CT blows through 26k cases and 2k deaths...we again ask @GovNedLamont why there is a religious exemption to the limit on public gatherings in our state? Why put CT at risk @NedLamont?

CT is one of only a handful of states with a religious exemption to the limits on public gatherings. Since our infection rate is headed in the wrong direction it is time for @GovNedLamont to rescind this exemption. Please contact his office. #InItTogether #ExceptReligiousPeople

.@GovNedLamont You want to eliminate religious exemptions for vaccines yet you put in place a religious exemption from your COVID-19 stay at home order (7N)? As if religious people won't spread COVID-19 or endanger everyone around them including frontline healthcare workers.
