With over 30 years in the UK security & FM sector, I leverage that knowledge and experience to solve problems and achieve tangible results.
If I could highlight just 5 things that have underlined my career success it would look like this:
🏆 Award-winning security professional. (Security Institute's George Van Schalkwyk Award for outstanding contribution to the UK security industry - IFSEC Global ranking of 2nd most influential global security professional for "Thought Leadership" in 2019 and finalist in both OSPAs and Security Excellence Awards.)
👥 Led teams of 300+ security professionals, across key National contracts. (One Government contract expanding from 3 to 18 sites, during my management.)
⭐ Significantly improved ACS / compliance scores for 4 UK security companies. (Not just writing appropriate policies and procedures, but ensuring that front line staff are informed, supported, respected and empowered to develop and achieve their goals.)
🚨 Delivered major operational improvements, leading to increased staff retention and massively improved contract retention. (Instigated training programs, massively improved client engagement, established professional development plans, mentored potential leaders.)
🍾 Completed complex bid submissions and given successful, contract winning, presentations.
Done right, client's become aware that Security is a vital business enabler, not a drain on the bottom line, and I get a buzz from seeing that change of thinking. If you're looking for someone who brings strategic thinking, operational credibility, commercial awareness and a genuine passion for developing people, I'd love to speak to you...
I'd also be extremely grateful if my network could like, comment or share this post to help it reach the right people.
Thank you for your support.🙏

🚨After 9 months, Ofcom ‘admits’ its restrictions have failed to adequately protect children.
This is not a surprise to anyone, including them. Because it was never expected to work. (An expression of personal opinion, protected under Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights.)
Now they get exactly what they wanted all along … to roll out age verification and biometric checks to use social media first, and then even to log on.
Yes, campers … the conspiracy theory that you will need digital ID to get online wasn’t a theory at all. (my personal opinion, expressed under my right to freedom of expression.) 🤡

A 15-year-old schoolboy was arrested by four West Midlands Police officers after a Conservative councillor complained about being mocked online.
Fraser, a 15-year-old Reform UK activist, was woken by police and arrested in front of his neighbours. His mugshot and DNA were taken. Even his shoes were confiscated as he was left in a cell.
What had he done? He had criticised a Conservative councillor on Facebook for wearing shorts and a T-shirt to a council meeting. When the councillor later attended a meeting in a suit, Fraser remarked that he was thankfully not dressed like a “rent boy”.
The story has become a global embarrassment. It has even reached the New York Post, where our American friends have expressed gratitude for the free-speech protections of the First Amendment.
Politicians must not use the police as their personal force to silence criticism or mockery.
Fraser is still, two months on, waiting to hear if he’ll be charged with a crime.
If a 15-year-old can be arrested for a jokey comment online, anyone can.

🚨BREAKING🚨
My house was raided yesterday morning at 5.30am by Greater Manchester Police, one uniformed officer and three from CID, with a live arrest warrant out for me.
This is in relation to the attacks on migrant HMOs across Salford.
Absolute nonsense.
All I’ve done is report what’s happening in our communities using public council information and refused to condemn our own people.
I expect to be arrested in the next day or two.
I’ll keep you updated.
This is a stitch-up for telling the truth.
Never surrender 💪🏻🏴

Correct. Hitler was a failed art student and vegan who admired Islam and blamed everything on rich people and the Jews, claiming he was just promoting equality.
Pretty much identical to modern far-left socialists.

Wait … let me get this straight …
They’ve released prisoners early because the prisons are full, and now they’ve run out of accommodation … so now they’re giving them TENTS to sleep on the streets.
But Burnham says everyone sleeping rough will be offered accommodation by Christmas.
So er … we’re releasing prisoners onto the streets in … to put them up in hotels in December?

🚨 CHURCH FIRE IN WALES RAISES SERIOUS CONCERNS ABOUT THE SAFETY OF CHRISTIAN PLACES OF WORSHIP!
TWO PAKISTANI MUSLIM INDIVIDUALS HAVE BEEN ACCUSED IN CONNECTION WITH AN ALLEGED ARSON ATTACK!
A church in Wales is at the center of disturbing allegations involving a deliberately set fire.
PLACES OF WORSHIP SHOULD NEVER BECOME TARGETS OF VIOLENCE OR DESTRUCTION!
Churches are more than buildings.
They are places where communities gather to worship, pray, support struggling families and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
AN ATTACK ON A PLACE OF WORSHIP IS AN ATTACK ON A COMMUNITY’S PEACE AND SECURITY!
The allegations concerning the suspects require proper investigation, and any religious motive must be established through evidence.
BUT ONE PRINCIPLE SHOULD BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR!
CHRISTIANS HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORSHIP WITHOUT FEAR!
No church should be burned.
No congregation should be intimidated.
And no act of religiously motivated violence should be tolerated.
THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR DELIBERATE ARSON MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!
Matthew 16:18 declares:
“I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
BUILDINGS CAN BE DAMAGED, BUT THE FAITH OF GOD’S PEOPLE CANNOT BE EXTINGUISHED!
Let us pray for the affected Christian community in Wales.
Pray for justice and accountability.
Pray for the safety of churches throughout Britain.
And pray that religious freedom will be protected for everyone!
MAY THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST REMAIN STRONG! 🙏
