So yesterday trump came to Mississippi to stump for Cindy Hyde-smith. I heard a snippet this morning where he said her opponent wants to, among other things, open our borders. I immediately asked out loud to the radio “what borders”? We border Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, and the Gulf of Mexico. What borders do we have that need to be closed? He has no idea where he is, just says the same things everywhere. Idiot.

Nathan: Sorta. The girl’s head is on backwards and she says the priest’s dead mother will perform fellatio for all eternity.

Ava Jendersee, who was filmed telling a protester to "go back to your own country," has seen her sullen face become the centerpiece of campaign materials for a protest scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 22, at the corner of Summit and Cleveland avenues. Given how quickly this story went viral online, wonder if the actual protest turnout will match its massive digital reach.

Imagine being the Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas and having “Grass on the field… play ball!” preserved in email archives for future generations.
The Benedictine monks at Subiaco Abbey hand-make peanut brittle and Monk Sauce. The brittle is cooked one skillet at a time with a heavy hand of peanuts, and the sauce is hot enough to keep people ordering from all over. Proceeds help support the abbey and the academy!

AUSTIN, Texas — A video shows a man identified as Reid Rupp, owner of the Austin-area company JP Exteriors, in a heated nighttime confrontation with a group of men and women on a Downtown Austin sidewalk.
In the clip, posted by the account chasekennedyy under the caption “Whose man is this” and tagged with location and #racism hashtags, Rupp can be heard telling the group, “Fuck you, I am racist,” “Go back to Mexico,” and repeatedly saying “Get out of my country.”
Witnesses respond with phrases including “You’re not about to do nothing” and ask, “You know we're in Texas?”
The video appears to have been filmed outside a bar area at night and shows the interaction unfolding on a downtown sidewalk.
A comment on the original post identifies the man as Reid Rupp and links him to JP Exteriors. Public business records list Rupp as associated with the company.

Look at the shabby state and increasingly authoritarian trajectory of the country and ask yourself if we can endure 2 more years of a lawless Trump administration wreaking havoc with no check from Congress, then vote accordingly. This is not the time for a protest vote or purity politics.
