No one has seen or heard from my father since August, when he explicitly said that he was being tortured and that the regime was trying to kill him like Egypt’s government did Morsi. The UN Special Rapporteur on torture has repeatedly stated that his treatment amounts to torture. Pakistan’s fascist regime, led by military dictator Asim Munir, continue to ignore the Supreme Court order from August for my father to be assessed and treated at the private Shifa International Hospital, as well as for regular access to family visits and access to his lawyers. It is clear that they are trying to kill him as he is by far the most popular political figure in the country, and they fear him. If the worst happens, no one should make any mistake who is responsible. It is Asim Munir with the approval of the illegitimate Pakistani government. Every government that continues to legitimise this regime will be complicit in this and the resulting chaos and destabilisation it causes in the region. No state that is engaging in friendly relations with this fascist Pakistani regime can truly claim to uphold the values of democracy or human rights.

It has been 30 days since my mother and my aunts, Dr. Uzma and Noreen Niazi, were unlawfully detained under the MPO. Throughout their detention at Kot Lakhpat Jail, they have been denied access to family and legal counsel.
No one, especially women, should be subjected to such treatment. With the detention order now ending, they must be released immediately.

Former PM Imran Khan’s cousin, Qasim Zaman Khan, was illegally arrested earlier today, as he was waiting outside Adiala Jail for a court appointed meeting with arbitrarily detained and incommunicado Imran Khan.
Imran Khan’s wife, nephew and three sisters are already under arbitrary detention.
Pakistan has never witnessed this level of blatant fascism.
The totalitarian military regime, under Asim Munir, has reached the most depraved level of lawlessness.

Today ur govt is mercilessly carrying out vengeance against my children & I can only watch with silent tears. So @CMShehbaz u must feel good to have gotten your daughter & son in law speedy justice from graft cases. Still no reason as to why they’re incarcerated. Please turn your attention towards Pakistan. It’s currently a state of chaos, with violent, vindictive criminals in charge.

According to some sources, @ImranKhanPTI’s sisters are on a hunger strike and haven’t eaten for the past 36 hours.
This is extremely alarming and also understandable.
When there is no law and order, when one lives in a dictatorship,
When one of you (@Aleema_KhanPK) is dragged along with your driver while running errands
When two of you are (@Noreen_KhanPK and @DrUzma_KhanPK) dragged from your homes in the middle of the night illegally by a gangster group who broke your bedroom doors to drag and take you away along with the rest of your family including little kids
When you know majority of the people in this regime’s control in jail has been given some kind of poison through food while in imprisonment…including and specially one’s own brother (@ImranKhanPTI) and his wife (#MrsBushraImran)
Also sisters are being kept in tiny 8x6 cells, confined all day and not allowed any visitors
Do speak up for the way this family is mistreated over and over!

I met Barrister @Hkniazi88 at Kot Lakhpat Jail on Thursday and found him, as always, in high spirits. His mother, @Noreen_KhanPK, is detained in the same jail, yet he is not allowed to see her; her salam reached him through someone else. He has learnt that she and his khalas are being kept in two small 8×6 cells and are not allowed out throughout the day. Yet, with remarkable composure, he said: “My mother is far stronger than me. If I have survived this, InshaAllah, jail is nothing for her".

I’ve been instructed to call on the public not to attempt to march or protest nearby Adiala jail on 27 March. I’ve heard from sources that this may be used as an excuse for the establishment to launch a “counter” assault on the jail (Which my father is being held in), which could endanger his life. Please do not give them any reasons for “accidents” to happen to my father during the protest.

Disgraceful. Shahrez & Shershah have little children at home. Watching family members being taken away and your home raided and pulled into a political crackdown you can’t even understand yet is the kind of fear and trauma children carry for years. There are some lines that should simply never be crossed.

Final confirmation of arrests , Dr Uzma Khan and Noreen Khanum, along with Dr Uzma’s son Azeem, Aleema Khan’s sons Shahrez and Sher Shah, Noreen Khanum’s daughter Sakina, two female staff members and the family’s chef Mustafa malik , have all been arrested and taken to an undisclosed location.

My cousin Shahrez’s 2 children of 4 and 6 years old are now missing.
There is no limit to their cruelty. Complete disregard for humanity.
This is a disgrace.
Now my Aunts Dr. Uzma and Noureen, along with my cousins Shershah and Shahrez have now been abducted as well.
They have broken into my aunties and cousins houses and forced them
into vehicles with no explanation.
No reasons for arrest have been stated.
No news has been released as to where they have been taken.
This is criminal behaviour. Inexcusable. The Pakistani people are petrified of their own leaders.
No upstanding nation should tolerate this criminal establishment. Intervention is now imperative.
The world MUST take action.

Punjab Police have arrested both sisters of Imran Khan, along with their children and the sons of Aleema Khan Sahiba. They have been placed in an armoured vehicle and are being taken to an unknown location. Shame on the Government of Punjab and Punjab Police. This action is illegal and is strongly condemned.

My mother, Aleema Khan, was abducted after leaving home this morning. Our family has had no contact or news of her whereabouts. She is on bail in all cases against her in Lahore. We demand the government immediately disclose her whereabouts and ensure her safe return.
