EQUIPPING HOSPITALS, SAVING LIVES AND RESTORING HOPE.
The procurement of essential medical equipment, hospital furniture, pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical supplies is another significant step towards improving healthcare at Homa Bay County Teaching and Referral Hospital (HBCTRH).
For ordinary families, this investment has a direct meaning: faster diagnosis, timely treatment, fewer costly referrals and access to quality healthcare closer to home.
We have seen the difference medical equipment can make. When the hospital acquired its CT scan machine in 2023, residents such as Kennedy Addams welcomed the development, noting that it would spare families the financial and logistical burden of transporting patients to Kisumu, Kisii and other counties for specialised scans.
Consider two everyday experiences: a family seeking urgent diagnostic services and a mother requiring specialised maternity care. Both stand to benefit when hospitals have the right equipment, adequate supplies and skilled medical personnel.
For such families, Governor Gladys Wanga's investment in healthcare is not merely a government policy; it is about protecting lives, reducing household medical expenses and restoring confidence in public hospitals.
This is development measured not by the money spent, but by the lives improved and families given hope.

Asked them;
Why would Ruto be a wantam president?
Whom do you think should be the next president and why?
"Aaah Ruto aende tu" Ndirangu responded as he threw his hands in the air and picks his jots. He doesn't listen to common Mwananchi said another. He has misplaced priorities.
To find my long time friends Odhis, Kamau,Ndirangu and Obegi. The Kisii guy and the two kikuyu guys insisted that even if Ruto completes that road tonight he would still serve a single term. The Luo guy? Undecided since he got the employment through one of the powerful men...
Niko Modogashe, Isiolo –Garissa border. Went to see if the Mandera–Wajir–Modogashe road is progressing as we all see it in the media here.
Mostly dominated by Merus and Kambas. Borana claims the ownership and so are wasomali. Went to Sericho police station to play pool only...
Garissa is the most peaceful town, but 10 years ago. Check it out, fact!
I am in Bulla sheikh around Jamia mosque where Duale reigns both day and night. There's a boda stage, normally dominated by Kambas and Teso guys.
Otis! I heard Mutuko call me. Are you Tutam or wantam..?
I could not thwart that decision. The only response I got from the Kamba guys was;
Kalonzo has been in politics for 40 yrs and he is experienced.
Secondly, Kikuyus and Kambas are cousins so they will vote Kalonzo without Gachagua giving a nod!
I laugh, like do you think...
Yesterday I travelled back to Garissa (Daadab) to be precise. Luhyas and Kambas dominate here. We usually have a meeting point at a very famous restaurant Kwa Mama Ngina!
I found four guys and they all looked disappointed. Asked them what the problem was; They said Gachagua...
Is Ruto's project and he is the one behind the disintegration in the divided opposition. Now,let me ask you two questions;
Do you think Gachagua do not know Ruto will win 2027 elections?
Do you know why he stated that he will go back to the USA after 2027 general elections?

DEVELOPMENT MUST BE SEEN, FELT AND EXPERIENCED BY THE PEOPLE.
Leadership is not merely about making promises; it is about showing up, engaging with ongoing projects and ensuring that development translates into tangible opportunities for ordinary citizens.
The ongoing works captured here reflect the importance of investing in infrastructure, strengthening economic activity and unlocking the potential of our communities.
Under Governor Gladys Wanga’s leadership, the focus remains on turning development priorities into practical outcomes that improve livelihoods and expand opportunities for the people of Homa Bay.
The measure of leadership is not the noise it generates, but the lasting impact it leaves on the lives of the people.
Homa Bay is moving forward. Maendeleo ni lazima!

Power is a haughty goddess that was wastes no time with the unprepared.
Sakaja it is, the 11th hour!
Did @Milliegeza see this? She had to cancel her presser!
Omera I told you siasa bado, and you'll realize how powerful ODM party is.
Dayat nyaka loki. @silasjakakimba
Gachagua’s growing disagreements with political figures across the divide, from Justin Muturi to Edwin Sifuna, raise questions about the direction and consistency of his political engagement. Politics requires more than constant confrontation;
Politics is a marathon, wait until the 11th hour.
Do you remember what Mudavadi and Wetangula did to Raila at the 11th hour? Yes.
Wacha tuingie uwanjani sasa ndo mtuajua SAKAJA has a following like that of Baba.
shared responsibility for addressing the country's challenges. It was not, in essence, a merger of political identities or an invitation for constituent parties to surrender their organisational independence. ODM and UDA can pursue a common national agenda without...
