America’s culture of free speech is so strong that our idea of a “banned book” is “a school board in Nowhere, Kansas said it shouldn’t be in the curriculum and now every ninth grader in the country reads it”.
This is actually an essential exercise. If we don’t specify exactly the harms caused by child exploitation people just assume it’s bad for sexually conservative reasons.
