Once upon a time I ran into Pres. Carter in the SFO airport. I said that, as a long-time Alaskan, I greatly enjoy the legacy he created w ANILCA. He replied in a soft Southern drawl, "Not all of your neighbors were quite as enamored at the time, if I recall."
Hey Anchorage news reporters. The public richly deserves to know what happened between former Police Chief McCoy & Mayor Bronson that caused McCoy's abrupt departure. Did Bronson make inappropriate requests ? Please dig deep !
Am I last to hear this hot rumor ?! Dunleavy will dump Kevin Meyer and pick Tara Sweeney to be his Light Gov. Strange things are done. Under the Midnight Sun. And especially under Ranked Choice Voting !
Just saw Ghostbusters. Afterlife. Successful reboot. Big fan of Paul Rudd. In Rick Moranis role. Good to see old stars. Bill murray. Ernie Hudson. Dan Akroyd. Sigourney Weaver. . Ivan reitman in hologram. Finn Wolfhard. Of Stranger Thing is great. Go see it !
Thank you, Congressional Democrats. My late mother. RIP. Was a severe diabetic and depended on expensive insulin to survive. Paid for by US taxpayers into Tricare and my Air Force fathers health coverage. Build Back Better bill allows feds to negotiate lower prescription drugs.
Wow. Dems get s**t done, son. Affordable child Care. Voluntary Pre-K. Child tax credits. Paid Family Leave. Better Medicare & Medicaid & Obamacare 4 millions. Climate action. Took too long but worth it. Multigenerational & transformational. A better America. A more perfect Union

Opinion: The Alaska Redistricting Board’s last-minute gerrymandering failed our state adn.com/opinions/2021/11/12/…
In a holiday / giving spirit. Went to stjude.org & signed up 2 make monthly donation. No family of ill child ever receives a bill for anything. Parents only concern is helping their precious child get better. Pls join me ASAP. Get a tshirt. This shirt saves lives.
This Veterans Day. Thinking of my career Air Force father. Chief Master Sgt Johnny Ellis. 31 yrs. USAF. Radar expert. Korea & Vietnam. Loved & respected by his troops. RIP, Chief.
Gigantic victory 4 Democrats. $ 1.2 Trillion 4 Infrastructure. Millions of family wage union jobs. It took too long but now we rebuild USA. Masterful leadership by Speaker Pelosi. Pres Biden will sign ASAP. Huge celebration. Message. Democrats Deliver. Big Time. Major League !

This is really troubling. Foster children face too many barriers already. Alaska law hasn’t changed on this, so why has @GovDunleavy’s policy?
#Fosteryouth face immense challenges as they transition to adulthood. AK DMV is now requiring a court order for foster youth to get a drivers license. @GovDunleavy should offer opportunity rather than barriers to children in his care. #akleg #FFCA
Just saw Dune Pt 1. Wow. Perfect casting. Timothy Chalamet is Paul Atreides. Stupendous art direction. Triumph 4 director Denis Villenueve. Can't wait 4 Pt 2. Go see it. Theater better than tv. Read books 1-6 in 1973. Age 13. Frank Herbert changed my life. For good. GO !

1/2 BREAKING: The Mayor's office has dismissed security from tonight's chaotic and packed Anchorage Assembly meeting. Just prior, Adam Trombley, the Director of the ECD, unexpectedly removed the plexiglass barrier from the stand where members of the public provide testimony.
