Yesterday, I spoke in support of SB 1306 that passed out of the Senate HHS Committee unanimously. SB 1306, which I am a co-prime sponsor of, would establish a Hospital Security Grant Fund that would help protect our healthcare workers from workplace violence.

This morning, I joined @PPFFA3 as we broke ground on a new memorial to honor our Commonwealth’s brave firefighters who gave their lives to protect their fellow Pennsylvanians.    These men and women are heroes — and this statewide tribute will strengthen our commitment to the fallen and their families, to ensure we never forget their service and sacrifice.
