So.. IF (big if as is just a rumor ) the allegation that the DQ of Templar was for slow playing on porpoise as game strategies . Should she banned along koko Lopez to send another clear message ? @riftboundop @playriftbound #Riftbound
If someone say is that Keria is not oneof the greatest player that played league , and a player that along with madlife inspired many supports and completely change how we playing the role , you delusional. Every arc is greater next to Keria #Worlds2026
So weird that this #Riftbound tournament , after koko Lopez ban, so many pro already lost 2/3 games 😹
Maybe just a coincidence I know but still funny to think about
When I see people saying despite the game to player and have the cards is FREE , they also want free battle pass , free cosmetic , free this free there .
@origins_tcg is a charity of course .. YOU all deserve marvel snap shadowerse economy!!!! You have ranked rewards free!!
Just play the game .. BECAUSE IS FREE
a honest breakdown of @origins_tcg
i've seen a lot of posts about Origins, many of which are lacking some context so i'll try to write a sober breakdown
1. just play the game bro
ok this is obvious but even moreso with Origins. Before you judge the game, team, monetization, marketing strategies or whatever you have in mind just try the game. The whole thing of the game is to be 100% free (maybe it's a stupid idea who knows but it's player friendly and we're running with it)
you can download the game on Steam right now and just play, you'll eventually get all the cards in the game (yes very single base card) for free after completing a few missions
right now the game is averaging something between 500-1000 concurrent players and has 600+ reviews with 89% being positive for context... not bad
2. we need a bit of time
since we're talking about a video game here, not everyone will enjoy the game, it's just whatever suits you. So there is not much to be said about someone saying "wow this game is 10/10 i love this" or "meh 4/10 i prefer Snap/HS/*insert other tcg/game*
one small addition before i talk more about the state of the game: the game has continously been the one thing that gets positive reactions, ever since we started showcasing it. I think the current review rate goes to show that, clearly Origins has something going for it
ok let's talk about the state of the game... i've seen many people criticize the game for different reasons, like a stale meta, lack of archetypes, not enough player engagement and more
in my opinion takes like that don't do the game any justice: one thing that people shouldn’t do is dismiss the game in its early access state because they lack features or progression, or they think the meta is stale
obviously the game is far from complete and lacks a lot of features, some things that come to mind:
- proper elo system
- all kinds of metagame stuff
- actual trading
- packs
- battle/season pass
- more events & tournaments
- a complete set of cards
fun fact: you couldn't even spend money in the game if you wanted to since monetization is not live yet
it's a bit disappointing when creators make posts about how the game is lacking depth, or how the meta is one-sided, when the first proper balance patch is around the corner and we only have like 60-70% of the first set in cards available right now
if you’re a competitive player, or if you’re just bored by the current meta and the fact that you’re running into the same decks over and over again, you just need a bit of patience for now
to wrap up this section: IP & artstyle are 2 additional aspects of the game that you either like or don't (or don't care much about)... we have many talented artists on the team that craft our cards and visual assets and we're trying something unique with the IP - of course that IP is inferior to games like Hearthstone or Snap when they started out
3. the gamble
there are a lot of takes about the economy which are actually all fair
it’s a huge gamble, we dont sell power and have an open economy driven by collectibles which not everyone is into
the bet is simple: more players drive more desire for our collectibles, more interest in collectibles makes collectors happy, more collectors power the economy, a thriving economy brings more players.... aaand repeat
if this works out, it can be huge. if not, it goes to zero
and whether you like it or not, speculators play a part in this and it's fair that many people have a distaste for speculators
physical TCGs are full of scalpers, counter-strike skins get manipulated all the time and industries like crypto where open economies are the standard are known for scammers
but we still believe a true TCG deserves trading and open markets. TCGs wouldn’t experience the same boom they have been for years with closed ecosystems, so let's dare to fly
of course there are many speculators that buy cards & packs cause they hope to make a profit, but our monetization is also much less opressive
spending money in other digital TCGs means sending that money into the void, but in Origins you get to keep something of value
and the beautiful thing about Origins is: you DO NOT need to engage in the economy
you can play, get all cards, buy a seasonal pass and just enjoy the game
you can win the world championship without ever spending money on a card or open a pack
this is not possible in other TCGs and a unique aspect of Origins which we believe is a great growth engine
/end
so enough rambling, if you like TCGs, there is a good chance you will like Origins too, as it seems that 9/10 players enjoy the game
we're a "small" and humble team that is working hard every single day to improve the game, whether you see it or not... some updates that are being worked on are
- faster animation (saw a demo of this today, WOW it's so sick)
- more tournaments
- balance patch
- cards cards cards
- bring the collector pass into the game
- next ranked season
- and a lot of polish of basically everything
see you ingame (if you play obliterate i'll take away all your VP)
So @Pokemon now have the chat subscribe only
For the rebroadcast to avoid someone will say anything about @iCaterpie.
@PokemonTCG what next? Do you think because you are huge brand you not accountable ? Censorship is being done here ! Is a disgrace
Everyone complaint about @origins_tcg monetization (cosmetic only) or the trading part. Yet , the main thing that everyone play the game for free entirely without even interacting with trading or cosmetic is never brought up.
How many TCG/CCG can say that?
My god , this is next level . But yeah , Alessandro was wrong when he said was targeted .
Muting the live is next level.
** A COMPLETELY NEW LEVEL OF CENSORSHIP IN GDANSK **
I'm watching the stream of the OFFICIAL channel of Pokemon tcg and after the match of @AlbertoContiTCG he was doing the standard interview post game.
The caster asked him "do you have anyone at home who wants to shout out?"
Then they silenced the answer of Alberto just in case HE MIGHT say something about me...
I'm speechless... I'm not even allowed to be a memory in my friends hearth now...

When you have the CEO of the company come and be open to talk you about anything you have two option . Do it and have this conversation and then decide or look on the other side and show that you never even care to have a conversation.
I’m happy of Timothy response
Hey Bynx, great to meet you. I'm the founder of Koin Games, the studio building Origins. Like Kevin, I'm a big fan. I've been watching since the early days of Snap, back when you won the Conquerors broadcast.
I want to start by saying I appreciate that you take the time to look up a company before deciding on working with them. Hopefully, after I clear a few things up, you might still be open to the idea of working with Origins.
Here is a quick history on how Origins TCG started with blockchain and NFTs and ended up like Counter-Strike on the Steam marketplace.
From day one we have had one simple dream: to bring the physical collecting experience from Pokémon, One Piece, and Riftbound into digital TCGs. There's something so special about being able to fill out your binder, trade with friends, and collect things that have real value, even if you never intend to sell them. As my wife always reminds me, "Why does it matter if the price goes up if you never sell anything?" 🙂
When we started this journey, it was at the very beginning of using blockchain and NFTs for games. There were a lot of messy things back then, but there was also so much hope that blockchain was the answer to true ownership in digital. So we started to build in that direction. We partnered with Immutable, and we announced (but never launched) Project O as a game that would use blockchain and NFT tech to give players true ownership.
But as we kept building, the adoption we all expected never happened, the stigma with gamers kept growing, and ultimately we realized that if we wanted to reach our goal of true ownership in digital, we needed to look outside of blockchain. The obvious answer was to follow in the footsteps of the most successful digital collectible ecosystem of all time, Counter-Strike, and to build on Steam.
Just to make it very clear we have zero blockchain in our game, and we never will.
Origins is simply a really fun game that gives every player every card for free, and just like Counter-Strike, every item you can buy is limited, rare, and truly yours.
We know not everyone cares, but we believe players deserve free and fair competition. We believe players deserve to own the items they choose to spend money on.
I'll finish by saying that while it hasn't been the smoothest path from where we started to where we are now, I'm very proud of the journey we've been on. Most of my favorite products and companies, like Apple, Fortnite, and Tesla, made some massive mistakes along the way to finding something great, and I believe that's what's happening with Origins.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and if you're open to it, I would love to jump on a call and chat. My DMs are open.
Origins is in good hand !!
I’m so happy the goat is with them
I'm happy to announce that I will be joining the @origins_tcg council providing them with direct feedback and making it a better game than it already is.
I have been enjoying the game & I like the direction that every card in the game is completly free + the passion they have for esports. Lets go! 🔥🔥 #OriginsPartner
Big win. You can hate origins fine . U can love snap fine . But have a bad narrative with also some lie on it that not cool . And also avoid the discussion
One of my favorite Marvel Snap content creators, @Bynx_Plays, recently posted about @origins_tcg.
I've watched Bynx for years and have a ton of respect for him, so I wanted to reach out personally.
Some of the old history around Origins understandably raises questions without the full context, and I completely understand where those concerns come from.
I'd love the chance to show him what we've actually built, answer anything he wants to ask, and hopefully win him over. 🙏
Base on @CoachCrono streaming yesterday . He received a 30k offer for his golden Dracula from @origins_tcg
