Nevada Supreme Court rules a Protected Series of a Nevada Series LLC “MUST” be sued in its own name, although the statute says “may”.

All Series LLC Acts contain some language requiring separate records be kept. Most of these laws are quite vague about what constitutes separate records. The Uniform Protected Series Act addresses that the records must be subject to an objective standard. 1/
