I am a proud and loyal Democrat. I served in President Clinton’s National Security Council and worked for Madeleine Albright at the State Department. I ran for Congress as a Democrat, have voted Democratic all my life, and expect to continue doing so.
But I would never vote for Abdul El-Sayed. In my judgment, he does not represent the values of our party or our nation. I urge my fellow patriotic Democrats in Michigan to leave the Senate line blank or vote for Republican Mike Rogers.
This is an exceptional case, and I do not make this recommendation lightly. We can support Democratic majorities nationally while refusing to support a candidate who violates our core values. Loyalty to our party should strengthen our principles, never require us to abandon them.

Isn't it weird seeing Greta protesting with French students for better school conditions?
Thankfully, French students aren't living through a war.
Remember her excuse for ignoring Israeli civilians during the war Hamas started? It was that it isn't as bad as Gaza.
If that's her rule, why isn't she telling French students to stop complaining about overcrowded classrooms when wars are happening everywhere?
Maybe it was never about who suffers, but rather, where the cameras are pointing.

THREE YEARS.
Three years since the moment my life changed forever. Even now, it feels so unreal that sometimes I still can’t fully comprehend that I was kidnapped and taken to Gaza. Sometimes it feels like it was all just a nightmare I somehow woke up from.
But at the same time, the pain is always here.
It never really leaves, and sometimes, it only gets stronger.
This year, when I went to visit the graves of my friends, I felt like it had somehow become even harder.
Maybe because the hostages are finally home.
Maybe because I’m no longer part of that fight.
Or maybe because everyone else has already graduated, moved to Tel Aviv, and started their careers.
And you remain there, like a memory from another life. A life that was innocent, young, and happy. A group of friends simply enjoying life, dreaming big, with no idea how quickly everything could change.
I miss you every single day.
With every step I take, on every path I choose, I find myself wondering what it would be like if you were still here beside me.
As more time passes, I realize that soon, more time will have passed since we lost you than the amount of time I actually had the chance to know you. And that is something I still can’t accept.
To me, you are always with me.
And for those of us who have lost someone we love, it isn’t easy to watch the world keep moving when some people’s lives simply stopped.
It isn’t easy to live with the guilt of being the ones who are still here. But we have to keep going, because that is what they would have wanted for us.
We have to learn to live alongside the pain.
Embrace it.
Forgive it.
Understand it.
But at the same time, keep looking forward.
Give yourself permission to
LIVE.

🕯️ Shani Louk, 22, was murdered by Hamas at the Nova festival on October 7. Terrorists took her body into Gaza and paraded her throughout the streets. The IDF recovered her body on May 17, 2024.
🕯️ Shiri Bibas, 32, was abducted by Hamas with her 4-year-old, Ariel, and 9-month-old, Kfir. Her husband, Yarden, 34, was abducted separately as well. Shiri and her two children were murdered in captivity. In February 2025, they were finally returned to Israel, awaited by Yarden, who was released earlier that month alive.
🕯️ Shlomo Mantzur, 85, was the oldest hostage taken by Hamas. He was murdered by Hamas on October 7, and his body was taken to Gaza. Shlomo fled the Farhud, a massacre of Bagdhad's Jews, in 1941.
🕯️ Lianne, 48, Noiya, 16, and Yahel Sharabi, 13, were murdered by Hamas in their home in Kibbutz Be'eri on October 7. Yahel had just been Bat Mitzvah'd in July. After the attacks, a soldier found their bodies cuddled together. Eli Sharabi, Lianne's husband and the girls' father, was taken hostage and returned after 491 days.
Three years since October 7th. We haven't forgotten a single one of them. Remember October 7th the way it happened, not the way people are retelling it.
May the memories of all of the victims of Hamas's October 7th attack be a blessing 💔

I know October 7 will be extra difficult, seeing all the planned celebrations of the massacre...
But listen to me:
Tеrrorists cannot kiII everyone. So they aim to kiII everyone’s spirit.
Do not let them touch yours. That belongs to you.
Goodnight 💛💋

It is one thing to merely see oneself as a victim. It is another to objectively be a victim.
Israelis were objectively victims of October 7th—the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust.
Any suggestion to the contrary is anti-Israel activism camouflaged as journalism.
Macklemore just responded to being dropped from the rest of the Ed Sheeran tour…and somehow he still doesn’t get it.
He wants everyone to believe this happened because he simply got on stage and said “Free Palestine.”
I was there. That’s not what happened.
He took someone else’s concert, accused Israel of genocide, filled the screens with anti-Israel political messaging and turned what was supposed to be an Ed Sheeran show into his own political rally.
And now, rather than acknowledging for even a second why so many people were upset, he says accusations of antisemitism are being “weaponized” to silence him.
That part really says it all.
According to Macklemore’s statement, Ed Sheeran told him directly that his messaging had hurt a lot of people he spoke with.
Macklemore’s response was basically: they’re wrong.
He even says there is a “fundamental disconnect” if people are more offended by those words than by what he believes is happening in Gaza.
Maybe the disconnect isn’t everyone else, @macklemore.
Maybe it’s you.
And the fallout didn’t stop with the reaction online.
According to Macklemore himself, Robert Kraft told Ed that Macklemore would not be allowed to perform at Gillette Stadium, other stadium owners followed, and ultimately @edsheeran removed him from the tour.
So thank you Robert Kraft, @Pink, and @edsheeran.
Pink had the guts to publicly call this out knowing exactly what kind of reaction she would get. Robert Kraft apparently had the ability to actually do something about it…and did. And Ed ultimately did the right thing.
Credit where credit is due.
Sometimes having a platform means knowing when to use it.
And sometimes having a stage means remembering it isn’t yours to hijack.

Every antizionist who believes they’re “on the right side of history” while defending a dude who literally does Nazi salutes in Jewface needs to realize how profoundly they have been brainwashed into being the foot soldiers of a global anti-Jew agenda without realizing it.

Non-Palestinians are more than welcome to support Palestinians and advocate for our rights. But for God’s sake, don’t lecture actual Palestinians about what is good or bad for us based on your own ideological fantasies.
59% of Palestinians support a two-state solution—a Palestinian state living side by side with Israel. Yet somehow, many self-proclaimed “pro-Palestine” activists in the West have decided that supporting a two-state solution means “supporting Zionism.”
Supporting Palestinians should mean listening to Palestinians, not deciding for us what we are allowed to believe.

The malicious claim that American Jews are inviting violence against themselves is dangerous and antisemitic.
There is zero justification for threats against the safety of our Jewish brothers and sisters at a moment of rising hate.
We will fight the cancer of antisemitism with the fierce urgency of now.

A few days ago, @UNICEF published a report determining that acute malnutrition rates in Gaza are as low as 0.2%–0.8%. The report notes that this rate reflects greater stability than in many other countries in the region.
These findings align with the humanitarian report that we in COGAT published several weeks ago, which determined that the volume of food entering the Gaza Strip during the ceasefire significantly exceeded humanitarian needs.
Since the start of the ceasefire, over 2 million tons of food have entered Gaza.
This massive influx has led to:
📉 A sharp drop in food prices.
🥗 Greater dietary diversity in local markets.
🍞 Dozens of active bakeries and community kitchens.
COGAT’s coordination efforts, in cooperation with the international community, have maintained a stable food situation in Gaza.
The data speaks for itself.
Backed by hard facts, it is clear that the steady flow of aid is meeting and exceeding humanitarian needs, securing long-term stability on the ground.

Many commentators and policy voices discussing Gaza still fail to grasp the scale of damage Hamas inflicted over two decades, let alone the catastrophic consequences of October 7, and what that means for how Israel will view Gaza for the foreseeable future. Even if you condemn Israeli actions, Netanyahu’s leadership, or the IDF’s conduct, Gaza will be regarded with deep suspicion for years. Israel is not going to withdraw quickly before disarmament is credible and nearly complete. The Israeli public will remain anxious about what follows any withdrawal, shaped by the long, painful experience after the 2005 disengagement. Hamas ultimately validated Israel’s core argument for the blockade: the group transformed Gaza into a fortified launchpad for smuggling, rockets, tunnels, and attacks. After the worst single-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, fears of Gaza again becoming a threat are only exacerbated.
This reality puts the burden squarely on Hamas to expediently exit the scene, and on observers to understand Israel’s security lens. It requires reimagining Gaza’s future in a post-war, post-Hamas era: a territory rebuilt into a hub of Palestinian stability, prosperity, effective governance, and peaceful regional integration, making up for the two decades Hamas hijacked. Acknowledging this does not mean endorsing Israeli policy or perpetual military control. But insisting on full Israeli withdrawal while Hamas remains present is unserious, detached from the realities on the ground, and ignores how Israel’s security establishment actually operates.

So many people are calling me and saying I should pipe down and let it blow over and while they mean well I'm afraid it's not an option.
Doubling down works for Donald Trump and we share a birthday with Che Guevara, Alan Carr and Paul O'Grady.
What a supergroup that would be. Move over Steps.
What is most shocking is the amount of gay folk attacking me but I am smart enough to realise that what you are cannot disguise who you are. No gay person speaks for an entire community and if you support terrorism you can in the words of Divine 'Take your toolkit and go fuck a garage'.
When I say 'they want to kill every last one of us' I am also talking about us queers not just the Jewish community. When will you wake up?
Regardless of which side you take, I am disgusted by anyone who posts hatred against anyone but refuses to show their face.
If you have something powerful to say then you should have the guts to show the world who you are but most, if not all of you, are unwilling to show your faces and the only reason is self interest.
