BREAKING: Former Kano State Governor and NDC Vice-Presidential Candidate has alleged that the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, is doing everything possible to ensure that the NDC does not have a gubernatorial candidate in Kano State.
While addressing his supporters, he alleged that Governor Abba, having failed to remain in Kano and relocated to Abuja, is making efforts to remove Comrade Abdulsalam Gwarzo's name from INEC's records.
He further claimed that when the governor realised that the matter was beyond his control, he resorted to seeking a court order directing INEC to take action against the NDC candidate.
The former governor expressed concern over what he described as attempts to frustrate the NDC's participation in the 2027 Kano governorship election.

People are surprised that I am a leader in the NDC while openly supporting Atiku in the ADC. But let me ask: Does the NDC not believe in good leadership? Does supporting good people suddenly become wrong because they belong to another party?
