At Monday nights regular meeting of The Canon City Board of Education the board awarded Superintendent George Welsh with Colorado's "first ever", "Superintendent of the Quarter Century Award". This award was given for incredible leadership, vision, hope and guidance by Mr. Welsh.
Pretty darn cool when the front of your superintendents office door is covered with work from kids!! Thank you George for your heart for kids....all kids!!
