HUGE CENSORSHIP PUSH IN JAPAN:
The manga "Register!" is receiving intense backlash from "feminists" and "Pro-Censorship" groups within Japan. Calling for the series to be canceled, banned, and censored entirely.
The manga features an age-gap romance story.
The backlash began with a post on October 22nd where a female Japanese account talked about an uncle that comes into their store and starts talking to them too much. Giving them the creeps.
Eventually this caused a user known as "tajima_sksm_3" to quote the post saying the manga "Register!" is the cause of this real life incident. That a fictional story is promoting these actions and causing them in real life.
The tweet was deleted once it started going extremely viral in Japan. There was many accounts gaining millions of views advocating for censorship of the manga.
One feminist poster reached over 64.9M Views and 50K likes slandering the manga. Which caused even more people to swarm in to want manga censored within Japan.
Since then the author Fujimaru has yet to comment or make a official post on many journalists even talking about it.
TLDR: Japan has a big problem with feminists wanting manga censored into the ground right now. The parasites within the west have taken root within Japan

The cultural erasure of honorifics in anime is a silent tragedy.
You never see "san, chan, tan, chan, sama, and even sensei" in subtitle work.
Its always replaced with Mr or Ms and you can tell its not what the characters are saying at all

Under the UK's new law, someone who lawfully purchased consensually produced adult content in 2025 could face criminal liability for keeping the same content after November 6, 2026, even if they bought it directly from the performers depicted. The maximum penalty is two years' imprisonment.
Adults producing content with other consenting adults and selling it to consenting adults is now a crime in the UK if the content is not approved by the paternalistic government.
The parliamentary record identifies several important lobbying organizations:
End Violence Against Women Coalition (EVAW)
UK Feminista
Centre to End All Sexual Exploitation (CEASE)
CARE (Christian Action Research and Education)
As usual, the radical feminist organizations have colluded with the Christian right to control what consenting adults buy from other consenting adults to watch in their own homes.
Well done.

>They came for my icky fiction and they cheered for its censorship
>They came for horror and the people that would stand with them have already been silenced
It'll only get worse from here

Do you know the reason why our straight harem games full of cute 2d waifus that want a relationship with our self insert MMC are being signaled of having feminist themes? Its because foids entered our fandom as parasites, foids and wokies need to understand Nikke is NOT for them.

France, the nation that created Cuties which used real children to twerk and dance provocatively, thinks drawings and drawn porn are worse than using real children for adult viewing or all the rapes children and women have suffered due to importing the 3rd world.
on top of that, you couldn't even use a french animation for your worthless words, you still had to wear the talent and creativity aesthetics of japan because your country produces nothing but pedophilia content and shitty crackers.

The past few weeks are proving more and more why Anime going mainstream was a problem. Nothing but disrespect for the culture that has created what so many "claim" to enjoy.
No shame at all!

What I was warning people about for years turned out to be true
French Government wants to do a Internet BLACKOUT to hide the truth for the world can't see it or discuss it
This is able to happen because of the crackdown on "Internet Safety" as a mask
You know what countries do this? The Middle East when their people wants to show the truth.
Be warned this is the future of the internet in Europe and UK. Where the Government will do a blackout to silence information

Thanks to localizers, Japanese companies and creators largely have a false perception of what is "necessary" when it comes to the English translation of Japanese media.
The art and cultural references should not be censored or "adapted," rather these works should be faithfully translated to adhere as closely as possible to the original Japanese.
Foreign media should feel foreign to an audience outside of that culture's target demographic; this is normal and also allows said audience to better understand a culture whose creativity they enjoy. "Adapting" it to feel like it wasn't even made by its own creators' cultural perspective is artistic vandalism.
Localizers and those who defend their practices will often default to "you can't translate 1:1" when a lot of script changes are easily translatable lines of dialogue, as demonstrated by countless comparisons.
While egregious examples are often shared the most because they stand out more, there are so many simple lines that get changed for no reason other than what amounts to a localizer's personal preference, which should never justify altering the author's intent.
Unfortunately, these practices are so ingrained in the industry that it will require a complete overhaul to the way Japanese to English translation is handled. The Japanese need to know this is *not* necessary for their media to be enjoyed.

The lack of respect when consuming another cultures entertainment is shocking. Imagine the amount of hubris and entitlement you have to have to dictate to another culture how their entertainment should be created and recieved.
No sense of decorum.

Sir, you don't need to adapt cultural references in Manga to sell it outside Japan! Nobody wants to read a butchered/censored version simply because there are people who can't spend 1-2 minutes to google and learn the thing they don't understand!

mashiro is wrong. We do not need redone panels or americanized edits. We actually hate those things.
