- My Media Threads 2026 - You know the drill by now. I will give out my thoughts on everything that I have played or watched throughout the year. And you should still mostly expect me to talk about video games

The number of talented actors passing away at such a young age this year is just heartbreaking to see :(

Isn’t this selling at a faster rate than the original Sonic Generations’ long term sales? Kind of wild to me if that’s the case and would explain why they rereleased that game despite how safe that pick is

Even the Ultimate Life Form can’t deny the power of our community. Thank you for pushing SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS to sell more than 3 million copies!

Regina from Dino Crisis is so fucking hot. I have no clue why it took me until playing a good chunk of Dino Crisis 2 to say that here, but it honestly reminds me that Capcom character designers keep creating top tier character designs, and they still got it

I didn’t expect the Solid Cannon to be this broken 😅

This is such a fun arcade-style shooting gallery gameplay loop. Occasionally getting a no damage bonus in Dino Crisis 2 feels so rewarding for maintaining that flow state

Purple Lamp’s SpongeBob games really do evoke the era when few budgeted licensed games were locking in despite only being given a budget equivalent to regular sandwiches. As much as we think about how much better Titans of the Tide could have been, what we still got is awesome

I have been thinking about Titans of the Tide again because I’ve been watching Snapcube’s VOD streams of that game and hearing her sound like she has the biggest smile on her face while playing that game 🥹

I was wondering when this game would introduce Podracing, and it's via just simple flashbacks

I’m sorry, but if Devil May Cry 5 and Ninja Gaiden 4 can’t revitalize stylish hack and slash games, I highly doubt that Phantom Blade Zero will change that course now

This post from the Phantom Blade Zero subreddit has me in tears 😂😭

#NowPlaying Oh yeah, I also started to play Criterion Games’ Black game on PCSX2 since I’m going through their Burnout games, and I’m in the mood for a short FPS game

I already said it, but this motherfucker doesn't need a whole-ass standalone game for his character status to recover. Just give Silver a meaningful role in a mainline Sonic game story that is not a first draft (Sonic 06) or nothing burger (Generations and Forces)

What is it with Castlevania fans and the Netflix show that lobotomizes them into saying Belmont’s Curse is part of it? Are you all playing that game blindfolded?! That’s about as dumb as saying Shadow Generations is good or bad because it’s part of the Sonic movie universe
Ravenous Rob (Ro2R)@Ruleof2ReviewOct 23
One of my favorite things about Belmont’s Curse is that, while not actually canonically connected, the game is spiritually an extension of the Netflix show. Which in my eyes is a masterpiece. It feels like I’m playing in that same world and I LOVE IT.

Wow, people weren’t lying when they said that Dino Crisis 2 basically took the Resident Evil 4 approach long before RE itself made that move. That said, I welcome this gameplay style with open arms and it’s just fun as hell in terms of my first impressions of it
