In Monroe County, @Shanic4da will be a real reformer for fairness, integrity, and communities.
This a huge #ElectionDay in the #ROC.
New York's 2019 debates on bail showed how coordinated DAs can be resisting criminal justice reform. In Dutchess & Monroe counties, 2 incumbents who played this role this year (& long before) face big challenges. (The Dutchess DA is seeking a 9th term!) #overlookedelectionstakes

Breaking the cycle of incarceration means addressing the root causes of why people offend, not just the symptoms. It's time to take smarter and more individualized approaches to justice.

As District Attorney I want to meet people where they are so we can create safer and healthier communities. One easy way to do that, is by respecting how people identify. Pronouns, race, ability and gender matter. I want an office that values those differences. #PronounsDay
