Real power is having the strength to be UNBOTHERED, UNBOSSED, & UNLIKED!
It's when you don't need to call people names to feel good about yourself or your position.
It's when you can disagree agreeably & hold tension with tenderness.
That's power! That's integrity!
Having a bad outcome does not mean you made a bad decision.
Even with the best planning & strategy, some variables are outside your control.
So, plan, prepare, & pray.
Even if the outcomes are less than you'd hoped, knowing you did your best is a great reward!
2 interceptions, 1 QB fumble, missed tackles, penalties, and TERRIBLE playcalling!!!! We can't get out of our way!
Issac, it's time to answer! Remember to throw to our team. Don't get greedy and throw an interception. Be patient!! 🦬🦬🦬
Your haters can HELP you.
Their vitriol gives you FREE visibility.
Their posts about you build YOUR platform.
Their meanness makes you more marketable.
Their public grudges make you more Google-able.
Their whining builds your wealth.
Let them talk while YOU BUILD.
🙏
Ants always argue with giraffes about height… even though they have NONE!
Remember: folks who haven't experienced what you have experienced or accomplished what you have accomplished WILL argue with you about what it takes to achieve or maintain something they have NEVER done!
AM Manna:
Leaders (Coaches, Pastors, etc.) CAN'T always share THEIR side of the story.
They sometimes have to absorb blame.
Why?
Revealing the truth would do more damage.
Integrity won't allow them to expose the vulnerable.
Wisdom won't allow them to hurt the foolish.
Not throwing shade... but why do we sub the RBs who are moving the ball instead of always subbing them out? Again, just asking for my own edification.
Why don't some men care about sexual abuse until it's their mother, sister, daughter, or wife who gets abused?
Why?
It's disgusting!
And a few wins won't erase the long-term harm done to women. It doesn't matter if you are a pastor, player, or a president!
Just terrible!
