Tips/tricks for Gambling X
#1 Bankroll Management: establish a strict unit system and stick to it. For example I bet $100/u. You may bet $15-$20 per game. It’s based off your bankroll size + 1u assuming 1% of bankroll. You don’t want to be risking 40%+ of your bankroll per day unless you’re in love with the idea of depositing vs withdrawing profit.
#2 Understanding Probability & Value: for many of you out there you think -200’s, -300’s are safe bets. -200 = 66.7% implied chance. -300 = 75% chance. -110 = 52.3%. Hard enough to win 57-58% on -110’s over 25/50/100 games. You lay juice and lose? The bigger win % you need to achieve a profit over a 10 game and up sample size. So when you’re locking in lottos and yabadabdoo slips with 3 -1000’s 4 -200’s thinking it’s safe. Start understanding the true value of these lines and what’s actually worth your money.
#3 Don’t Chase Losses: daily, weekly, monthly this will never change until you develop strict discipline. Emotionally throwing hundreds to thousands of dollars on a live or next slate game after you took a loss or 2 is recipe for major disaster. There will always be a next value spot to make money back and get into the green. Slow and steady wins the race
#4 Line Movement & Line Shopping: for many of you, you believe if a total goes down you lost or up you won before the game even begins. Same with spreads. If you don’t understand what causes the moves i.e sharp money, weather, injury picked up you will never make it in this industry. Leads to cashing out, panicking, or fading your initial read. Line shopping also pivotal finding the best value daily. You want true edges in the betting markets vs taking a team at -160 because it looks good. Some days FanDuel will be 5-7 cents cheaper, next day DraftKings, next day Bet365. You get the gist. Beat the market…short and long term will equate against the books.
#5 Volume: this is strictly for new/novice bettors. Throwing out 5-8 slips daily many of which are lottos will never net much profit if any. Best way to attack this industry 2-3 value plays, sprinkle a lotto if you’re feeling frisky. Too many hundreds of dollars in lottos and <$100 on a straight bet. Best way to make money will always be straights and low margin for error.
#6 Keep That Ego In Check: alongside bankroll management this is just as important. You can win 3-5 bets and feel on top of the world so you lay above your means on the next game thinking you’re king dingaling only to lose. Then all your profit and hard work achieving such is up in flames. Keep the same mindset winning as after losing. Onto the next day and grind.
If you don’t value money you’ll always be broke. Have a plan, set a goal, smash that goal, achieve new highs. While maintaining bankroll management and consistently attacking the books with the best chance to win.

Holy shit it appears there may be a coverup happening in real time involving FanDuel and Rob Gronkowksi.
The account CodyBrownBets has been called out for being a corporate account pretending to be a person based on patents. The government links to these patents are now being used in community notes on Cody’s posts to provide evidence he’s not a real person (or is and sold his account to be controlled by someone else).
The Cody account denied the allegations last night and then once the post was hit with community notes last night containing the patents, the post was deleted [An attempt to kill the community note?]
This is a problem for FanDuel because it collaborates with CodyBrownBets all the time. There are allegations that FanDuel, or its close partners, control the account in order to artificially engineer bets from the public on certain teams to balance its books.
Rob Gronkowki collaborated with CodyBrownBets and some of the evidence of that has been deleted too - attached is evidence that still exists (for now).
It’s certainly possible Gronk and FD have done nothing wrong, but it’s time for them to answer questions about their knowledge and relationship with the CodyBrownBets account. Also if Cody is a real human, now would be a good time to finally show his face.
Let’s hope a former NFL player isn’t knowingly helping FD deceive millions of fans.
