I’ve always said that America, as a country, terrifies me. I’ve never romanticised the idea of living there the way many people do. And that’s largely because of its gun culture and the sheer scale of violence.
Imagine leaving Africa in search of greener pastures, only to end up dead in a trash bag in NYC. Second dead African youngster in a month, What exactly was the migration dream?
Man found dead in trash bag in NYC was 'devout' churchgoer, pianist from Ghana trib.al/dmW6Z3p

When you say "Nigerians cannot afford basic public utilities like electricity" (which people all over the World can afford);
You forget that one of the basic/major responsibilities of Nigerian leaders is to grow the GDP per capita, reduce inflation, and maintain a realm of security and prosperity;
Not continuing to blame ordinary Nigerians burdened by high inflation for their own poverty - ad infinitum.
This ersatz 1980s/1990s style Washington Consensus neoliberal economic thinking - will lead to ordinary Nigerians finally dismissing "Nigerian technocrats" as being incompetent, insincere, and inconsiderate.
Secularism works, it works in US, works in Netherlands. If you think Islamists will take over US, then I have a lake to sell to you.
Conservatism will be an ideal, but it must have a touch of secularism. Let the traditional conservatives stand along secularism. Pure Conservatism is a recipe for more barbarism

AA are feeling appropriated by people that their hiphop culture has deep ties with. Their prejudice doesn’t allow them to understand how American media that addressed black struggles in the 70s/80s was received here and related to by young South Africans. Anti-Apartheid tours too

Everyone has a reason for not announcing, from Bank runs to loss of trust
Hopefully sharing of information is currently occuring between fintechs so they can shore up their security
There is safety in numbers, not isolation
Why do a lot of you do this? Your music are not that good, not because it's you, it's just not that good!
We even support your artists more than you support them. You don't play their songs, your A-list artists say it all the time. Leave us the fuck alone! Nawa oo!
In 2006, a European newspaper published a cartoon depicting Muhammad. Guess what these Islamists did? They rioted in Nigeria and killed over 100 Christians, including people from my own community.
We woke up one morning to witness a trailer carrying the bodies of people who had been killed and burnt by Northern Nigerian Muslims who felt their prophet had been insulted. The bodies were brought to a halt right in front of our compound.
I honestly don’t understand why retards like you think you can convince me to deny my own lived experience. I’ll never forget that week.
Lmao I've noticed a pattern with right wing thinkers... When you're younger and afraid of being too soft, they sound smart... When you are older and see that life is actually pretty hard, they seem weird.
And then you watch them long enough to see that they're also just trying

We found an additional 453 new polling units in the audit.
We took on an ambitious task: bringing together thousands of people to review INEC’s preliminary voters' register, polling unit by polling unit. I can now confirm that our data gathering is 100% complete.
Our first finding is about polling units.
INEC’s preliminary register display lists 177,299 polling units instead of 176,846.
This means INEC has created an additional 453 polling units.

So good, I am jealous
When @otherpractice approached us for a logo, we started with the name: a practice that does things its own way.
In an era where it’s easy to copy and paste what’s trending, we chose to hone in on what makes OtherPractice unique and let that personality lead.
The result is an identity that’s vibrant, full of life and personality. Expressive letters come together in a distinctive mark, each bringing its own character to the whole.
A little unexpected. Very Other Practice.

This young girl needs serious mental evaluation.
In 2026, where young minds are involved in land around the world, a young girl has sold her own life to madness in the same 2026; the yr of Olódùmarè.
May she find liberation and freedom from her mental slavery and bankruptcy.
Dear Yorùbás,
If you have an Obidient around or at home. You literally have someone who wants you to become slave, someone who wants to end you.
Ignorance is not an excuse.
They are dangerous than the actual enemies we're fighting. I know some of them just innocently want a better Nigeria.
We need to work and move twice as faster, kí wọn ma rán wa lóko ẹrú ó. They will come back later and say, "I didn't know" but that won't fix the problem already created.
We saw this happen in 2023, some of them are back now with "I didn't know". We're screaming it now.

Replying to @Manuelix9
If ISSP'S messaging and dominance (over other terrorists group in Nigeria) is successful then Nigerians should be gearing up for another civil war (I'm not joking). We might be looking at Manuel bearing arms in 5 - 10 year time or even shorter.
