Zoho Launches Agentic Analytics With a Built-In Ontology, Putting Business Context Within Reach of Every Team shashi.co/2026/10/zoho-launc…
Does your AI agent know what “best customer” means at your company?
@Zoho announced today that Zoho Analytics is becoming an agentic analytics platform, with semantic and ontology layers built into the product at unchanged pricing. I wrote up why this release matters for any team that wants AI answers that fit its own business.
Your agents need a foundation first
Companies should start with a good data foundation, and Zoho now puts that foundation inside the analytics tool your teams already use.
The Layers: The semantic layer defines your terms and metrics, and the ontology layer maps how your business entities connect, such as customers to contracts and contracts to service tickets.
The Agents: Ask Zia now hands work to six specialist sub-agents that all read the same definitions, and the $24 Basic plan includes Zoho LLM credits.
What should you do?
Pick one business question with a known right answer, and model it first when the ontology previews arrive over the next four to eight weeks.
Ask Zoho to show you the Apache Ossie export of that model during your pilot, so you can see your definitions move to tools like dbt.
You can read the full analysis here: shashi.co/2026/10/zoho-launc…
Which business question would you model first? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

It is uncanny, but my theory is that if you have two competitor apps open one of them will give you a better rate. This is instead of just having only one app open at any given time. Do you have the same experience?
It’s so cool when you meet people who’ve read your posts even though you’ve never connected! That’s exactly what an "audience of one" at work looks like. In B2B marketing, a post really proves its worth when it reaches that one person who can actually make a move—whether that's buying your product, awarding a contract, making an introduction, or asking for a briefing.
My latest post over at misunderstoodmarketing.com is written specifically for that one reader: the CMO whose team is stuck reporting LinkedIn results based on just impressions and follower counts.
Here are a couple of key takeaways:
• Back in March 2026, LinkedIn mentioned that their feed now uses LLMs to better understand what posts are about and is cutting back on that repetitive, click-baity content. When you clearly name your target reader, you’re giving their system the perfect signal.
• Before you hand out a posting calendar, make sure every executive has their "one reader" in mind. Your CEO should be writing for the CIO at a target account, and your head of product should be writing for the analyst who covers your specific category.

Name the person your next post is for. The algorithm can find that reader only after you do.

Things changing at TSA Pre.
Touchless hasn't been working for the past two times I have traveled through Washington Dulles Airport and San Francisco.
Instead I see new gates being installed which I feel will be self serve like the Global Entry kiosks.
There are also new machines if you are the lucky ones selected for the random screening.
PSA: Remove everything from your pockets.
These machines are good. The catch everything including the lip balm in your pocket or the paper napkin.

Bad actors are trying to feed political misinformation to AI chatbots. And Vivek Ramaswamy's attack ad against Dr. Amy Acton is one I find absolutely disgusting.
