This is Ettie Turner. In June 2023, this 3 year old British girl was stabbed in the chest in a French playground by a Syrian “refugee” named Abdalmasih Hanoun. The Chambéry appeal court has confirmed this week that he will stand trial for the Annecy playground attack. During the attack he attempted to murder 13 people. He stabbed four children, aged 22 months to three, at Le Pâquier, and two pensioners. One of them was Ettie Turner from Wigan, who was on holiday with her parents. Luckily, there were no fatalities due to the heroic actions of a French man named Henri d’Anselme. Henri bravely fought the knife off of Abdalmasih and chased him out of the playground until police arrived. Who knows what would have happened if Henri hadn’t stepped in.
