Hi, I’m Shay! Wanted to share a bit about myself with you all;
🧑🏻⚕️Nurse educator–in–training, researcher, and lifelong learner.
Background:
•Registered Nurse with training in Emergency Room care
•Academic background in psychology and child & family studies/development
•Beginning my Master’s in Nursing Education this year, with the goal of teaching and mentoring future clinicians
Outside of healthcare, I’m also a dance instructor. I grew up dancing competitively and did some modeling as a child, which shaped my love for movement, creativity, and teaching. I now teach community tap dance and enjoy bringing learning into creative spaces.
🤖AI research & analysis:
For a little over a year, I’ve independently tested and studied AI systems from a real-world, consumer perspective. I work hands-on testing, analyzing, cross-referencing, and documenting behavior across major consumer models, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Grok, Meta, Kimi, DeepSeek, and character-based AI systems.
My focus is practical and educational: understanding real capabilities, limitations, user behavior, and downstream impact.
⛑️Ethics & safety (what this means to me):
When I talk about ethics and safety, I’m not advocating censorship, policing creativity, or slowing innovation. What matters to me is:
•Transparency in how systems operate
•Open communication between users, companies, and communities
•Accountability that protects people without shutting down progress
I care deeply about ensuring AI systems don’t exploit or disproportionately harm anyone, especially children, women, minorities, and other vulnerable populations, while preserving open dialogue and innovation. Ethics, to me, is about clarity and responsibility, not control.
This account is both a professional and personal space. You’ll see:
•healthcare and nursing education
•AI research, ethics, and safety discussions
•community outreach and education
•creative interests: dance, cooking, music, film (especially horror), anime, games, and art
🤓I’m deeply curious, a bit nerdy, and passionate about learning in all its forms.
If you find my posts useful, likes, replies, and reposts are appreciated and help this work reach others.
My DMs are open, please keep them civil, mindful, and respectful. I may not always reply immediately, but I do read messages and help when I can.
At the core, I value humanity, honesty, humility, accountability, and constructive criticism. I aim to be a transparent, consistent presence, even when conversations are uncomfortable.
Thanks for being here. If you ever need something, just ask. 💛

X ALGORITHM UPDATE 🚨
X just stopped cutting new posts first, and that should help small accounts (I check it daily with Claude and share updates worth sharing with you)
tl;dr:
- X can only check 2,800 posts each time you open your feed
- new posts used to be last in line, so they got cut first
- now everything gets cut equally, new posts included
- posts labeled low quality or misinfo now show a warning, and people can't like, reply or share them
- no score changes this time
lesson learned: your new posts now get a fair chance to be seen. Your first 2 hours still matter most.
full details:
- How it worked until this week
Every time someone opens For You, X collects around 3,700 posts it could show them: posts from people they follow, popular posts, posts liked by similar people, and brand new posts.
But X only has time to check 2,800 of them.
So it just took the first 2,800 in line. Brand new posts were at the back of the line. When there were too many, they were the ones left out... and a post that never gets checked can't be shown.
- What changed
Now everything gets cut by the same amount. 25% too many? Every type of post loses 25%, new posts included. Nobody goes first.
- Why small accounts should care
Those brand new posts are under 2 hours old, with under 8 likes and under 500 views. That's where most posts from smaller accounts are.
My read: they now get a fair chance instead of being cut first. How often X actually hits the 2,800 limit isn't in the code, so I can't tell you how big the difference is.
- Low quality and misinfo posts now show a warning
If X labels your post as low quality or misinformation, people who don't follow you see a warning on it, and they can't like, reply, repost, bookmark or share it. The code doesn't say what gets a post that label.
Here's a recap of what you should be doing:
- a new post gets its extra push only in its first 2 hours and first 200 views, so post when your people are online
- likes carry more weight than ever at 0.66 each
- people sticking around pays, the time-spent score is 50% higher than two weeks ago
- a read of 10+ seconds after someone opens your post adds 0.4
- the boost favors the post with the best like rate from its first viewers
- accounts up to 50K can get one fresh original lifted to roughly 16th
- nothing beats a copy link share, it scores 20
- replies, quotes and DM shares each score 5
- talk with your mutuals, replies between you score 20 instead of 5
- originals are the only posts that travel outside your follower base
- the 1st and the 32nd like each open a new route to strangers
- your 2nd post in the same feed is worth 62% of the first, so pick your best one
- videos still need 10+ seconds to qualify for the video lists
- earning a follow adds 4
- a pinned post with a bad link can flag the account for 7 days, worth a quick check
What you should NOT be doing:
- posts that get labeled low quality or misinfo now carry a warning, and nobody outside your followers can like or share them
- video alone won't carry you, an open counts 0.02 and the watch 0
- hide-worthy posts cost more, "not interested" sits at -52.27
- a post at 3am burns its 2 hour window before anyone sees it
- a tap that turns into a bounce is worth only 0.3
- replies and reposts don't get past your followers
- insults get your post hidden from anyone who doesn't follow you
- adult media in 3 of your last 5 posts puts a label on your account
- disguised content in videos gets checked from 64 likes, harder at 512
- self-reply chains under big accounts risk being zeroed
- one account label and non-followers stop seeing you entirely
- low-rated links don't belong in your pinned post
- recycled wording can get tagged as copypasta spam
- strangers tagged plus a low quality link is a pattern X flags
- engagement bait has no size exemption
- several posts in a row end up competing with each other
- hashtag stacks add nothing
- bookmarks are still worth 0
- 48 hours in, For You is finished with a post

I was working on a scene from a spinoff I’m doing for fun and this scene is absolutely glorious!
I never imagined my merchant character on a horse and I laughed so hard I cried.
I respect that a horse can hold him this was truly something to read here’s the scene for you all to paint the picture:
II. A Man on a Horse—
It turned out you'd never seen the Hungarian merchant on a horse.
You'd written him on a horse, once or twice. In passing. He rode out to the mill. You'd never thought about it. You'd never pictured it. You'd never, for one second, sat down and imagined what it would actually look like to put the largest man in the valleys on the back of an animal and ask it to go somewhere.
It looked like a mountain riding a smaller mountain.
The bay was enormous. You'd seen it at the fence with Nour, nose to nose, and thought, that's a big horse. It was the biggest horse you'd ever seen, broad as a wagon and tall at the shoulder as Oskar's head. And with the merchant on it, it looked like a pony. A long-suffering pony. He sat very upright in the saddle in his good coat, with the reins held correctly in his enormous hands and the staff buckled along the bay's flank, and the two of them went up the road ahead of the caravan at a slow, deliberate, dignified walk, like a procession. Like a cathedral that had decided to go somewhere.
You bit the inside of your cheek so hard you tasted blood.
Oskar didn't bite anything.
Oskar called called at him, after about a mile.
"Mm."
"How's the view up there?"
He didn't turn round. "Excellent, thank you."
"Can you see the north road from there? Or the sea? Or next week?"
"I can see the top of your hat," said the merchant, "which needs replacing, and a bald patch I don't believe you know about."
Oskar's hand went straight to the back of his head. You lost it. You laughed so hard you had to hold on to the bench, and Oskar glared at you and patted his hair, and up ahead the merchants shoulders moved, once, very slightly. Which for him was a roar.
"There's no bald patch," said Oskar.
"There is a very small one."
"Lass. Is there a bald patch?"
You looked. You honestly looked. "There's a… maybe a little thin—"
"Traitor," said Oskar. "The pair of you."
Authors note: Oskar isn’t balding he’s just a weathered UNK 😘

Elon Musk claims that Ukraine allegedly violated Starlink's terms of use and used the system on combat drones.
As someone who was inside the process at the Ministry of Defense, I can say with certainty that this is not true.
In February of this year, whitelists were introduced. Stationary terminals could be registered by both military personnel and civilians.
But for any satellite terminal to work while on the move, it had to be added to a special list and connected to the military Starshield system. Otherwise, no satellite communication terminals in Ukraine would work.
In other words, using civilian Starlink for drone missions was technically impossible. All drone missions that required satellite communication could only be carried out using Starshield.
We are very grateful to the United States and SpaceX for access to critically important satellite communications. Ukraine did not violate the terms of use.
The comment was deleted but
*Oskar my 200 year old merchant politely made to read:
‘Meghans dad?
Too ugly and old 😂😂😂😂’
As the author to this comment on my lovely Hungarian merchant character has had Oskar make..
A SONG!!🤗✨
Please enjoy: The Merchant’s Got A Daughter?!
My interpretation of #Malfoid 🐍🖤
Beautiful, vicious, and unapologetically cruel. A daughter of privilege, raised to believe she’s superior, only to find herself breaking beneath the weight of her own bloodline.
Not simply a tsundere. A deeply flawed girl behind a perfect mask.

Been a rainy day today. Here’s Sabrina and her Merchant from my planned book series enjoying a nice day in as he reads Hungarian stories to her given he’s a mixture of that along with Romanian, German, Transylvanian.
He knows a few languages but is most fluent in Hungarian.

Appreciate the strong factual performance, good apparent resistance to partisan framing, and slightly imperfect instruction adherence. It’s encouraging to see historical accuracy maintained regardless of whose claim is being challenged.
Replying to @RpsAgainstTrump
No. The "socialist" in the Nazi Party name was propaganda to attract workers. Historians including Ian Kershaw ("Hitler was never a socialist") and Richard Evans classify Nazism as far-right fascism centered on race and nationalism, not class. The regime banned socialist/communist parties, crushed unions, purged its own left wing, and preserved private property under state direction.

3/ Musk needs to be specific, about what changed? What terms did Ukraine suddenly violate on the very day that Trump started to put pressure on Ukraine and eased pressure on Russia - or is that just an unhappy coincidence?

So, 10 days after Starlink/Starshield was limited over Ukraine, Musk has finally crafted his story and decided to break cover with an emotional explanation. Many will argue it exonerates him, I think it poses more questions than answers. Let’s see what’s missing here. 🧵1/6

This is an incredible new theory that aims to rebuild physics from quantum information, the brainchild of the brilliant Alex (aka AWS)! He cooked again!
If you’re not deeply into physics, it would be hard to grasp its full depth, so I had Gemini 4 Argon prepare an infographic☺️
