Paradoxically I think most people look better clean shaven. But, when someone does have a beard, they almost always look better with than without.

My friend last night was dressed as Paper. She had markers and people could write notes and stuff on her. It was a great costume. But like, your costume is Paper.

Imagine being 10 years old and walking out of a theater after this scene. One of the best feelings ever. Just goosebumps all the way to the car. Patrick Stewart was a titan.

Sir Patrick Stewart describes his first experience of a Hamburger in America. (You’ll read this in his voice)

I grew up thinking I didn’t because Arizona, California, and Washington all mostly share an accent, and California (Hollywood) influences so much global media that it is as close as you can get to a default “no accent” accent.
It’s funny how many people don’t realize they have an accent

Josh Brolin is such an enigma to me. Anyways perfect casting for Gurney.

I was pretty happy with the other superheroes we got in BND as they all played into the story and themes well. But tbh it is frustrating to know that from day one of writing they were like “so which other superheroes can we cram in here? Thor?”
Florence Pugh says Yelena only ended up in Brand New Day because Tom Holland chose her over Marvel’s biggest superheroes “Oh, you know, this all happened because of Tom. "So, years ago, when I had just kind of started my relationship with Marvel, and Black Widow had come out, and my Yelena wasn’t as obviously big as all of the other big superheroes.” “He, on the red carpet of his previous movie, when someone said, ‘Who do you want to do the next movie with? Do you want it to be with Thor?’ And I don’t remember the superheroes, but they were, like, all massive superheroes. "And he said, ‘No, actually, I want to, I want to do it with Florence Pugh, who plays Yelena.’” “So because of that, fans were then, like, so excited about the idea of it, and that started the ball rolling. So thanks to Tom. Thank you, Tom.” Jimmy Fallon: “Yeah. Come on. Thanks, Tom Holland. I love that dude.”

At no point did they ever consider just making a SpiderMan movie.

Competition plates really mask how heavy that bar is because this is more than 99.9% of people will ever be able to lift but it looks small so people don’t realize how impressive it is.
This weighs the same as two full laundry baskets

Hilarious to say this then reveal in the replies that you misunderstand both and are actually the one getting math questions wrong.
Just found out that some people use PEMDAS instead of BODMAS and no wonder everyone gets those easy ass math questions wrong 😭😭
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
PEMDAS and BODMAS are mnemonics for the same order of operations rules used in different regions and yield identical results. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_… purplemath.com/modules/ordero… mathsisfun.com/operation-orde…

I’m never gonna bash Beyoncé and obviously anecdotes aren’t the full story but I genuinely don’t know a single person who listens to Beyoncé, meanwhile I don’t know a single person who *doesn’t* listen to Michael Jackson.
I hate when yall say this cause name a male bigger than Michael?

Reminder that BMI is bullshit and doesnt mean anything on an individual basis. Behold, someone who is supposedly overweight.
You know America is full of fat people cus every time I, a 5’8” man, tell people I wanna weigh 160, they act like I’m anorexic, when in reality that would make me *just below overweight*

A lot of the responses to this really don’t understand what an idiom is
what ARE some modern idioms? the first one that comes to mind for me is "fork found in kitchen"

Anyone saying the Grand Canyon is overrated hasn’t seen it with their own eyes.
Each state's most overrated thing

Ong god you grow up and realize every single one of jade’s crash outs were valid.
Episode 1 of Victorious will truly always be famous like the alphabet improv scene was PEAK TELEVISION

Too many people in this world think that everything follows res ipsa logic. No, two friends sitting and eating together is not itself evidence that men and women can’t be friends.

More “you missed the point” is complaining about the characters not having twists or not having their plans work out. It could not be more spelled out that Dune is a movie about fate and prescience. Paul knows what’s going to happen and cannot stop it.

You aren’t supposed to be thinking “how are paul and the Fremen going to win this,” you’re supposed to be thinking “how is Paul going to *stop* himself from winning this.” And realize alongside him in horror and despair that he can’t.

From a lesser director you could say the actors are carrying the bad dialogue with good performances. But I think it’s inane to assume that these weren’t intentional directions.

The shown scene of Irulan: her “stilted” dialogue is her being a princess trained by the Bene Gesserit to maintain utmost control. But Pugh gives a controlled hint of exasperation in the voice. That’s GOOD dialogue and performance.

…And b) “movies can have weird dialogue where there’s something else to convey the feelings” motherfucker HANS ZIMMER’s Oscar-winning score makes me feel more emotion than any spoken word in movie history.

I don’t know if I’ve ever disagreed with a film analysis more. I don’t think there’s a simpler example of “you missed the point” than complaining that the climactic battle is brief and overwhelmingly one-sided.
Completely agree with author Jason K. Pargin on the new Dune films. Too bad he has me blocked.
