My American brothers and sisters!! I’m just a young guy from Japan. Some of you are twice my age. Some of you have been through things I can’t even imagine. Maybe you’re thinking, “What the hell does this kid know about life?” And honestly, I still have a lot to learn. But there’s one thing I know. I LOVE AMERICA. I love the spirit of this country. The courage to dream big. The freedom to choose your own path. And the belief that no matter where you come from, you can still chase something bigger. That’s the spirit that inspires me. And that’s why I want to tell you something, brothers and sisters. DON’T LET LIFE TURN YOUR FIRE INTO ASHES. Don’t let the years convince you that your greatest days are behind you. Don’t give up on a dream just because you’re getting older. Don’t spend your whole life worrying about what other people think. You weren’t born just to work, pay bills, and wait for the next weekend. YOU WERE BORN TO LIVE, TOO!! So go chase that dream. Take that trip. Start that business. Fall in love. Laugh until you can’t breathe. Whatever makes your heart beat faster, don’t keep putting it off. You don’t need the whole world to believe in you. YOU JUST NEED TO STOP GIVING UP ON YOURSELF. I’m still young, and I have so much to learn from all of you. But I want us to do something together. Let’s dream bigger. Let’s live louder. Let’s make the most of the time we have. Because one day, I don’t want us to look back and think about all the things we were too afraid to do. I want us to look back and say: “DAMN, WHAT A LIFE WE LIVED!!” My brothers and sisters… You still have dreams, don’t you? THEN WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!
