When @blur_io entered Web3, it turned NFTs into a flipping game, with little regard for the founders who worked their asses off, the creators who deserved their royalties, or the communities who loved NFTs for more than just their resale value.
And unfortunately, the damage might not be over.
With Blend winding down, we could see a flood of NFTs hitting the market, putting even more pressure on the floors of some of the greatest collections this space has ever seen.
But this downturn will be temporary. The real collectors, builders, and communities are still here, and we've survived worse.
Maybe this is an opportunity to get back to what made NFTs special in the first place.
I wonder if @opensea will step up, bring back meaningful creator royalties, and put artists, founders, and communities first again.
NFTs were always about more than money.
Time will tell. Strap in for a wild ride! 🍿
