I don’t think people realize how much healthcare costs are driving big companies to fire and not hire.
It costs them $30k per family, per year for premiums and care. Most of that goes to the massive, vertically integrated insurance companies that send weekly bills that no one reviews in details. And it doesn’t include the company overhead to deal with it all. It’s usually the 2nd largest expense after payroll. Which is insane
It’s far easier to blame AI than it is to blame Healthcare costs.
Want to increase jobs, wages and improve affordability for every American ?
Break up the biggest insurance companies. Make divest non insurance companies. They don’t need thousands of subsidiaries. That’s how they game and abuse the system and increase costs for all of us.
Call your senator and tell them to support the BreakUp Big Medicine Bill by @HawleyMO and @SenWarren.

It is an absolute lie that glyphosate is needed for 80% of U.S. food production.
Glyphosate is sprayed on wheat crops as a DESSICANT - a drying agent. Not to kill weeds.
So they poison the entire wheat supply just to speed the drying time which gets farmers paid 3-4 days earlier than allowing wheat to dry in the sun (which is how it's been done for centuries).
If all the glyphosate disappeared tomorrow, we would still be growing wheat, corn, soy and other crops. We just wouldn't be eating cancer-causing poison weedkiller chemicals.

BREAKING: President Trump says he wants to "drive housing prices up for people who own their homes."
"For people that own their homes, we are going to keep them wealthy," Trump says.
Shepherd of Knowledge retweeted
One of the most significant moments from the Trump Davos speech was when he said the quiet part out loud
You cannot lower housing costs for young people without destroying millions in wealth for boomers
"Every time you make it more affordable for somebody to own a house cheaply, you are actually hurting the value of those houses. I don't want to do anything to hurt the value of their house.
If I wanted to crush the housing market, I could do that so fast that people could buy houses. But you would destroy people who already have houses."
Our politicians are sacrificing people in their 20s and 30s for the prosperity of boomers
Let that sink in

Based on available info, xAI has agreements with the US government allowing agencies like USDA to use Grok for AI tasks, including potential simulations in areas like agriculture or science. However, there's no public confirmation of USDA specifically running simulations with it. If they do, it could involve modeling food costs or supply chains.

Women entering the workforce has completely destroyed quality of life for Americans
1. Two incomes became the new one income.
Once everyone had to work, employers and banks raised prices. Houses doubled. Families didn’t get ahead. They just ran harder to stay in place.
2. Kids got raised by institutions instead of parents.
Daycare replaces bonding. Schools replace values. Screens replace discipline. Then everyone wonders why kids are anxious and disconnected.
3. Communities disappeared.
If both parents work all day, nobody is home. No neighborhood stability. No local support. Just isolated families worn out from the grind.
4. Stress shot through the roof.
Two commutes, two schedules, no downtime, constant rushing. Marriages crack under nonstop exhaustion.
5. Divorce became the easy option.
Two incomes make it simple to leave instead of fix problems. The family foundation got weaker.
6. Birthrates collapsed.
If both parents are working 50 hours a week, having more than one or two kids is almost impossible. Entire generations are shrinking.
7. Government filled the void.
When no one is home, institutions step in. Schools. Daycare. After school programs. Healthcare systems. Government support. Weak homes create more state dependence.
8. Men lost purpose.
A man’s historical role to build, protect, and provide got diluted. Many men checked out. Society suffers when men have nothing to fight for.
9. Women were sold a false dream.
They were told a career and a boss would make them happier than raising their children or building a family. Now we have record levels of burnout, depression, and regret.
10. Families turned into roommates.
Everyone works. Everyone is tired. No one has energy for each other. The home stopped being a team and became a collection of exhausted individuals.

"You can't just take random unemployed people and have them make missiles!"
We took unskilled, uneducated housewives and put them in factories to make tanks, bombs, planes etc
There is NO job we *need* any migrants for. None.
🚨 JUST IN: Laura Ingraham PRESSES President Trump on restricting H-1B visas
"H-1B visa thing won't be a big priority for you? If you wanna raise wages for Americans, you can't flood the country with THOUSANDS of foreign workers."
TRUMP: You have to bring in talent.
"We have plenty of talented people here."
TRUMP: You don't have CERTAIN talents. People have to learn. You can't take people off the unemployment line and say, "go make missiles."
"How did we do it before?"
TRUMP: I'll give you an example. In Georgia, we raided [Hyundai for] illegal immigrants. They had people from South Korea. Very dangerous job. They had 500-600 people. Early stages to make batteries, to teach people how to do it. Well, they wanted to kick them out of the country. You NEED them. You can't bring in $10B for a plant, take people off the unemployment line, and start making missiles. It doesn't work that way.

I don’t like 50 year mortgages as the solution to the housing affordability crisis.
It will ultimately reward the banks, mortgage lenders. and home builders while people pay far more in interest over time and die before they ever pay off their home.
In debt forever, in debt for life!
Instead stop companies and asset managers from buying up single family homes, which has driven the price of homes and forced homebuyers to compete with corporations that turn thousands of homes into permanent rental homes.
Let people with a good rent history qualify for mortgages.
And..
PASS MY BILL - NO CAPITAL GAINS TAXES ON THE SALE OF YOUR PRIMARY HOME.
This will help people keep the equity they have earned owning their home for a very long time and likely allow them to lower the price of their home for sale since they won’t be paying taxes after they sell their home.
It really will help seniors sell their houses and keep their equity, which also in turn gives them money they need and that gets put back in the economy.

The wealth gap is broadening:
The top 10% of US households now hold 87% of all US stocks owned by households, with the top 1% alone owning 50%.
By comparison, the remaining 90% hold just 13%, while the bottom 50% hold only 1%.
On top of this, the top 10% control 84.4% of all private businesses and 43.9% of all real estate.
In total, the top 10% of households reflect 67.3% of the nation’s entire wealth.
The wealth gap has never been bigger.
