THREE YEARS. Three years since the moment my life changed forever. Even now, it feels so unreal that sometimes I still can’t fully comprehend that I was kidnapped and taken to Gaza. Sometimes it feels like it was all just a nightmare I somehow woke up from. But at the same time, the pain is always here. It never really leaves, and sometimes, it only gets stronger. This year, when I went to visit the graves of my friends, I felt like it had somehow become even harder. Maybe because the hostages are finally home. Maybe because I’m no longer part of that fight. Or maybe because everyone else has already graduated, moved to Tel Aviv, and started their careers. And you remain there, like a memory from another life. A life that was innocent, young, and happy. A group of friends simply enjoying life, dreaming big, with no idea how quickly everything could change. I miss you every single day. With every step I take, on every path I choose, I find myself wondering what it would be like if you were still here beside me. As more time passes, I realize that soon, more time will have passed since we lost you than the amount of time I actually had the chance to know you. And that is something I still can’t accept. To me, you are always with me. And for those of us who have lost someone we love, it isn’t easy to watch the world keep moving when some people’s lives simply stopped. It isn’t easy to live with the guilt of being the ones who are still here. But we have to keep going, because that is what they would have wanted for us. We have to learn to live alongside the pain. Embrace it. Forgive it. Understand it. But at the same time, keep looking forward. Give yourself permission to LIVE.

A new report by UNICEF shows Gaza has one of the lowest child malnutrition rates in the world. The so-called “worst famine in history” turns out to be the worst famine at being a famine. LITERALLY. 😭

Palestinian activist Motaz Azaiza, who supported Hamas and admits that freely, says Palestinian civilians seek war because they get attention and money. “A lot of people in Gaza were wishing the war would come…When a war or an escalation comes, the NGOs talk to you. There's a job opportunity. People only know us through war."

Hey @grok: Which age group is most underrepresented among Gaza deaths? Is it children under 10?

BOMBSHELL: Motaz Azaiza admits he filmed Israeli hostages being beaten in the streets of Gaza on October 7, and deliberately never published it, to protect the identities of the people beating them. He did post other October 7 footage that day, celebrating the attack. He quietly deleted it later. Azaiza is an influential "photojournalist" from Ghazza. TIME named him to the TIME 100. He was nominated for the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize. CNN, the Guardian and Sky all interviewed him. Ms. Rachel Griffin-Accurso, who has 16 million subscribers, made a video for preschoolers introducing "my friend Motaz." She deleted it later. Two weeks ago, he did a 3 hour and 38 minute interview in Arabic. He made a number of EXTRAORDINARY admissions. 🧵

The filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor received a 25-minute virtue-signaling standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival for a film slandering the IDF. Produced by The Guardian, the film took the name from NAZA, a military acronym derived from the Hebrew term nezek agavi, and which is used by IDF to indicate the number of civilians expected to be killed in an airstrike as collateral damage when carrying out strikes against legitimate military targets. Such target-validation processes are carried out by any professional army which wants to minimize civilians casualties and assess incidental harm. The Islamist terrorist organization Hamas operates under completely different standard. They actively target civilians, which they made abundantly clear when they massacred 344 civilians at the Nova Music Festival and kidnapped more than 220 civilians during the October 7th Massacre which started the Israel-Hamas War. The methods and goal of Hamas are something that the filmmakers of NAZA consider unimportant and they also ignore the suffering of Israeli civilians targeted in the October 7th Massacre, such as Shiri Bibas and her two young sons, Ariel and Kfir, who were kidnapped from their home in Nir Oz and taken into Gaza. Ariel was just 4 years old while Kfir hadn’t even had the chance to celebrate his first birthday. They were all murdered in captivity. While IDF soldiers risked their lives in an effort to keep civilian casualties down in Gaza, Hamas did everything they could to maximize civilian casualties in Israel. These are facts that the filmmakers are happy to ignore in order to be able to receive international applause at film festivals for a narrative that places Israel and its soldiers in the role of the perpetrators, while the atrocities that began started war are pushed further and further into the background. Germans dancing at a protest waving the regime in Iran's flag as the regime hangs Iranians for doing the same thing is so dystopian that if you read it in a novel, you'd think the author was too on the nose.

SIXTEEN YEARS before October 7, Pat Condell spoke these prophetic words about Israel and the evils of Hamas. This video is from 2007.
No, I’m not Jewish. I was raised as an Irish Catholic. You don’t need to be Jewish to support Israel against Islamic jihad. You just need a moral compass.

I want to ask the students screaming “Death to America”, do you have any idea what happens when American values die? Because I do. My family fled Iran, a country where freedom died. You don’t know what you have until it’s gone. You think America is oppressive because you have never experienced real oppression. You think silence is violence because you’ve never been silenced. You think words are dangerous because you have never watched a government drag someone away for speaking them. You think capitalism is evil because you have never stood in a bread line. You think borders are immoral because you have never had to flee across one. You think revolution is romantic because you have never had a revolution take everything from you. I have. And that’s why I refuse to be quiet.

Imagine how many of the antizionist bigots who hate Israel have literally no idea these attacks even occurred, nor thought for a second what it’s like to live under this insanity, and yet feel entirely confident espousing ignorant takes devoid of reality.
