The reported arrest of Richard Heart in Turkey raises serious concerns about due process, property rights, and how governments apply local laws to crypto.
Whether you support Richard Heart or not, these principles matter to everyone in crypto.
We ask you to stand for his right to fair treatment, due process, and a fair trial.
Today it is Richard Heart. Tomorrow it could be anyone.
The INTERPOL red notice was requested only by Finland (issued December 2024). The offence listed on it is aggravated tax fraud (törkeä veropetos) covering roughly June 2020–April 2024.
The well-known U.S. case was a civil SEC lawsuit from 2023 alleging unregistered securities offerings (HEX, PulseChain, PulseX) that raised over $1 billion and misappropriation of ~$12 million. That case was dismissed in February 2025 for lack of personal jurisdiction; the SEC did not refile. There is no reported U.S. criminal indictment, no U.S. red notice, and the U.S. is not seeking his extradition.
