What offends me is that an Archbishop is apologizing for praying over an American president.

At a time when Republicans are driving unity and our current Speaker is working tirelessly to elect Republicans from the top of the ballot to the bottom, our former Speaker is doubling down on sowing seeds of division. He took to national television (Fake News CNN, of course) this week in a ham-handed attempt to sabotage Republican candidates. Not only is this incredibly self-serving, but it is also potentially devastating to our local Jefferson County Republican down ballot candidates if moderate Republicans listen to this and simply stay home rather than vote. Totally disgraceful.

I’m proud to count them among my friends, and it was an honor to introduce them this morning at our GOTV rally in Chambers County that I emceed.
