What a fantastic Sports Day! Such hard work, determination, teamwork and sporting success!
All the children enjoyed taking part in a fabulous carousel of sporty activities and races, earning points along the way for their respective 'houses'. Congratulations to the winners 'Air'
Thank You to the fabulous FOSS facebook.com/groups/69115175… for raising an ENORMOUS £2500 at their Race Night!
WOW WOW WOW!!! Who needs Britain's Got Talent when you can have the combined forces of Years 1-4 at Shipham CofE First School, and Draycott and Rodney Stoke Cof E First School?

Our Book Week activities culminated with our celebrations of World Book Day... the children, and staff, came to school in fabulous costumes representing favourite book characters or in pyjamas to reflect our Book at Bedtime theme.
Our Year 4 have been enjoying a fabulous and busy three day residential trip to Morfa Bay in South Wales... They have been meeting the Year 4 children from Cheddar and Draycott Schools, most of whom they will meet again at Fairlands in September.
Year 4 Green Club raised an impressive £300 to be split between Comic Relief and charities supporting Ukraine, by hosting a jumble sale... which also gains them points towards achieving Eco School Status. They collected donations, advertised the event and ran the stalls.
Willow Class enjoyed a virtual visit from Carymoor Environmental Centre @Carymoor They learnt about the ‘3 r’s’ in a whole school assembly. The children also had a great workshop with Wigglebert the Worm where they learnt all about turning some food waste into compost.
