This high-level event provided a collaborative setting for an exchange of thoughts between the European #shipping community and the policymakers of the European Union. Industry stakeholders from across the #maritimevalue chain shared insights on the opportunities and challenges of European shipping during the energy transition journey. Vassilios Kroustallis, ABS Senior Vice President, Global Business Development, who gave the keynote speech, said: “As the industry is redefined around us by powerful forces beyond our control, some things are clear. What is also emerging is the confidence that, although a truly decarbonized industry may seem a long way off from the standpoint of today, our trajectory is good.
