This is racist Texans harassing Black people. Today, fwbsi.com/ called the sheriff stating I threatened them because I advocated for better care. Dr. Anthony Lee and his MA delayed and denied care when I requested pain medicine pre and post op. #news Cowboys #racism
Former Cowboys star Dez Bryant was handcuffed outside a Southlake restaurant Sunday after a traffic dispute escalated into a confrontation. Police said callers reported an argument and a possible weapon. No firearms were recovered. Bryant says another man threatened to shoot him. He acknowledged knocking a phone from the man’s hand and was released with an assault-by-contact citation. Now look at how these officers are treating people. American citizens, handcuffed on the pavement. Rifles out. Being told to “shut up.” Once people have been checked for weapons and secured, why keep them on their bellies with their hands cuffed behind their backs? Why not let them sit up while you sort out what happened? That position is humiliating. Keeping people there should require a safety justification—not simply an officer’s willingness to leave them on the ground. I’m disgusted. Yes, many football fans will be concerned because it’s Dez Bryant. I’m more concerned with how police are treating citizens of this country—human beings. Nobody should have to be famous for us to recognize that this is wrong. Watch the video. Use your eyes. Join me in denouncing this conduct. It is dehumanizing and wildly inappropriate. 🎥 OutKick | @dezbryant

A. Neverending. Story. #racism never ends. It's as red, white, and blue as the #USA. #news @LeeMerrittesq
His name is Nevada. He is just 3 years old. His family says he was kicked out of his soccer league after complaints that other children couldn’t take the ball from him. Police then escorted his family off the field. Let that sink in. A little boy showed up to play the game he loves—and his family ended up being told to leave by police. Nevada deserves a childhood where his talent is nurtured, his confidence is protected, and his joy is celebrated. No child should have to shrink to make others comfortable. Keep your head up, Nevada. Keep playing. Keep shining. Your gifts deserve room to grow. ⚽️ 🎥: @nevadaney10

Ashanti’s name means strength, courage and resilience. She has needed all three to survive. First, a poacher’s snare severed her trunk, cutting off the ‘fingers’ that let African elephants forage so dextrously. She was especially vulnerable growing up at the height of a drought. Then she got completely stuck in mud. Her herd couldn’t save her – but, thankfully, our rangers found her in the nick of time. Now she is one of our ‘Voi kids’, a group of orphans all rescued during the drought and growing up surrounded by love and support. Ashanti has adapted marvellously to life with a shortened trunk. She still relies on our care, but we’re optimistic she will thrive in the wild one day. You can play an important part in her story by adopting her: sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/o…

#BREAKING This woman arrogantly posed as an attorney without passing the bar. On press day one, she demonstrated her #incompetence. Just because someone looks like a pageant winner, doesn't mean they should work for a president. nytimes.com/2026/10/16/us/po…

Megan Thee Stallion adopts a stray cat she found outside her studio. On Thursday (Oct. 8), the Houston rapper shared a video on TikTok in which she gave an update to fans about a cat she named Miso that was featured in a previous post. Hot Girl Meg said she found the cat when she came to the studio early one day and learned that it had been abandoned by its owners. "I didn’t wanna force miso to come home with me bc I felt like miso was having fun being a street cat but after a bad day miso jumped in my car and finally went with me!" she captioned the video showing her greeting and getting acquainted with the feline. "I took miso to the vet ... miso had every parasite ever lol but I’m treating him and now he’s finally home .. and also to my surprise miso is a boy (neutered)." Megan has multiple dogs, including one that she rescued from a shelter before it was scheduled to be euthanized in March.
