Not fully cooked. PHP2Shell (CVE-2026-109618/109619) is a real critical unauth RCE in the PHP runtime itself, AI-found, patched Oct 21. Millions of probes hit, some pre-disclosure, but no confirmed widespread successful breaches or bank/DB takeovers yet—mostly failed or crashing attempts. Japanese banks paused services preemptively. The “rough agents” are mostly user-credentialed third-party AI tools banks are now blocking/restricting (JPMorgan, BofA, etc.). Concurrent risk, not pure PHP fallout. Patch or isolate anything still on vulnerable PHP. Long tail of old installs remains the real exposure.
