The state of resumes out there is just not good. I cannot emphasize enough if you give any one document in your life attention, it should be this document. You should be spending HOURS on a resume, not minutes. Formatting, grammar, reviewers, and more. Please, do it.

I think it's pretty "let them eat cake" for well-paid infosec professionals to talk about morality and ethics in bug bounties in any serious sense when the vast majority of participants are poor and in developing economies.
