The way people search is changing. Instead of typing keywords like “thermal long johns,” people want to search in a way that feels more natural and intuitive, using a search query like “something warm to wear skiing”.
So, we updated storefront search.

We are 1 month away from Black Friday weekend and everyone wants to know what the shopping trends will be. @Shopify conducted a global survey and got a glimpse at the shopping trends we expect to see around the 🌎 this holiday szn.
1. AI is the new personal shopper. Consumers are going to be using AI to find gifts. 67% think it’ll make it easier to get recco’s for gifts. Checkout Shop.ai if you haven’t already.
2. People want to know your deals BEFORE they are live. 71% want to know your deals ahead of Black Friday weekend so they can plan.
3. Social AND physical retail matter. 33% said they would buy directly from Instagram and 34% prefer to shop IRL to discover products.
